Leeds-based professional services firm Turner and Townsend has announced that its turnover has reached the £1 billion turnover mark for the first time.

The firm has published its annual review which detailed what managing director Patricia Moore has described as “excellent” financial results, showing an increase in global turnover up from £884 million last year to £1.2 billion this year, an increase of 38.6 per cent.

00:35 saw its global net revenue reach £1.1 billion, which is an increase of 37%. In the UK, the
00:43 firm saw its revenue increase by 25.6% over the past year, reaching £404 million. Employee
00:52 numbers also rose to 4,206, which shows an increase of 17%. Outside the UK, the firm
01:02 cited a number of regional hotspots, including the Americas, where revenue grew 58.5% and
01:09 employee numbers rose over 50%. The firm also cited Australia and New Zealand, which saw
