00:03 A lion lay asleep in the forest after a long and hard day.
00:20 A tiny little mouse came upon him,
00:25 and he was just in front of the lion's nose.

00:33 The lion woke up from his nap, and when he saw the tiny mouse,
00:45 he laid his huge paw over the mouse
00:50 and was ready to have him as a meat.
00:55 "Mercy!" said the tiny little mouse.
01:00 "Please let me go away, and someday I'll help you, I swear."
01:07 The lion was pitiless and finally let the mouse go.

01:19 After some days in the forest, while the lion
01:25 was stalking his prey, he was caught
01:30 in the tangles of a hunter's net, unable to free himself.
01:36 [MUSIC PLAYING]
01:44 The mouse heard the lion's roaring and quickly
01:49 went to help him up.
01:53 He got one of the big ropes, and soon the lion was free.
02:04 "Thank you very much," said the lion.
02:08 "I promise I'll be there for you if you need some help,"
02:13 said the mouse.
02:16 After all this, they began to be best friends.
02:21 [MUSIC PLAYING]
02:25 Now the lion and the mouse were best friends.
02:32 They enjoyed together playing around.
02:38 They helped each other if they had the chance
02:42 and were best friends for the rest of their lives.
02:47 Remember these words-- "A kindness is never wasted."

03:10 Once upon a fairy tale, a little boy named Jack
03:16 lived with his mom.
03:17 They were very, very poor, had a tiny little shack.
03:21 "Oh, Jack, we'll have to sell the cow.
03:24 We have no money left."
03:27 "It's OK.
03:28 It's market day.
03:29 I'll do my very best."
03:32 So off he went with Milky White, but on the way he met
03:38 a funny man with twinkling eyes.
03:41 "Oh, boy, you're a cow.
03:42 You bet.
03:44 Take these beans and plant them well,
03:46 and riches you will see."
03:49 "It's a deal.
03:51 I'll make my mom proud of me."
03:55 "One, two, three, four, five, magic beans
03:59 will change our life.
04:00 One, two, three, four, five, look at these magic beans."
04:08 Jack ran home.
04:09 He couldn't wait to show his mom the magic beans.
04:13 "Oh, Jack, what have you done?"
04:16 His mom's face turned red.
04:18 She threw the beans out the window,
04:21 and she sent poor Jack to bed.
04:24 When he awoke, what did he see?
04:27 The biggest beanstalk in history.
04:29 "I'll climb right up and see.
04:35 One, two, three, four, five, magic beans
04:39 will change our life.
04:41 One, two, three, four, five, look at how high I climb."
04:48 Up in the clouds where the castle stood,
04:51 its big doors opened wide.
04:53 "Who could live in this giant place?
04:56 I'll take a look inside."
04:59 In the kitchen, a giantess was cooking giant eggs.
05:04 Jack tried to get a better view, so climbed the table leg.
05:10 "Fee, fie, foe, foe," came the giant's roar.
05:15 Jack hid behind the fruit bowl so he could see some more.
05:21 The giant counted out his gold, then
05:24 grabbed a giant who laid a giant golden egg
05:30 the size of our Jack's head.
05:33 "One, two, three, four, five, golden eggs before my eyes.
05:38 One, two, three, four, five, look at my eggs so fine."
05:44 "One, two, three, four, five, golden eggs
05:48 will change our life.
05:49 One, two, three, four, five, look at these eggs so fine."
05:54 [WHISTLE]
05:59 "Whoa, whee, woo-hoo!
06:02 Yay!"
06:03 "Oh, Jack, where have you been?
06:10 Was this beanstalk here before?"
06:12 "Mom, look, here's a bag of gold,
06:15 and I'm going back for more."
06:18 Jack told his mom about the giant, the castle, and the gold.
06:24 He started climbing up the stalk before his mom could scold.
06:30 Back in the castle, the giant slept.
06:33 Up to the magic hen, Jack crept.
06:36 As he tiptoed out, he saw a golden harp beside the door.
06:46 "I'll take this home for my mom.
06:55 She loves to sing."
06:58 But Jack was silly.
06:59 He couldn't carry everything.
07:03 "Who's there?
07:06 Who dares steal my gold?"
07:13 "Uh-oh."
07:14 "Fee, fie, foe, fum, come back here, you naughty one.
07:20 Fee, fie, foe, fum, bring me back my gold."
07:26 "Oh, my, oh, mom, grab the axe, the sharpest one.
07:31 Oh, my, oh, mom, chop it down right now."
07:38 And that's exactly what she did.
07:41 The beanstalk fell, and the giant was never seen again.
07:46 The hen was so happy, she laid a golden egg every day.
07:51 And Jack and his mom were never poor again.
07:55 "Oh."
07:56 "Hmm, do you think our hens have laid any eggs today?"
08:00 "Oh, do you think it'll be a golden egg, Mummy?"
08:02 [LAUGHTER]
08:06 Storytime.
08:13 Yay!
08:14 Come on, settle down, everyone.
08:16 That's it.
08:18 One day, Little Red Riding Hood's mother
08:21 made some delicious cakes for Grandma,
08:24 who was ill in bed.
08:25 Take these to Grandma and cheer her up.
08:32 Remember, stay on the path and don't talk to strangers.
08:36 Go straight there.
08:38 "Yes, Mother."
08:39 Little Red was walking through the forest,
08:49 sticking to the path just as she should.
08:53 When along came a sly old wolf.
08:56 He was hungry, and he thought, "Those cakes
09:00 will taste so good."
09:04 Little Red, Little Red, you've got to do what your mama said.
09:10 Don't stray from the path or talk to strangers, please.
09:15 Little Red, Little Red, Grandma's waiting in her bed,
09:20 in her cottage, in the clearing, in the trees.
09:26 The wolf thought of a plan so he could trick her.
09:31 He pointed out some flowers off the path.
09:34 "Go pick those."
09:36 While Little Red was picking them,
09:39 he hurried to Grandma's house to wait for his chance.
09:47 Little Red, Little Red, oh, there's trouble up ahead.
09:53 The wolf is trying to trick you for his feast.
09:57 Little Red, Little Red, even Grandma's been misled.
10:03 Someone else is waiting in her bed.
10:09 Little Red arrived at the cottage.
10:13 "Grandma!"
10:14 She knocked upon the door with glee.
10:18 "Come in."
10:19 Waiting there in bed, the wolf cleared his throat and said,
10:25 "Oh, Little Red, come over to me."
10:30 "Grandma, oh, Grandma, what large eyes you have."
10:36 "All the better to see you with, my dear.
10:39 Come closer."
10:41 "Grandma, oh, Grandma, what large ears you have."
10:46 "All the better to hear you with, my dear.
10:49 A little closer."
10:51 "Grandma, oh, Grandma, what large teeth you have."
10:57 "All the better to eat you with, my dear."
11:01 Little Red, Little Red, the wolf sprang out of bed.
11:07 Chased around the cottage just for fun.
11:12 Little Red, Little Red, in the woodcutter's bed.
11:18 He swung his axe and off that wolf did run.
11:21 "Out you go. Yikes."
11:23 Luckily, the woodcutter had been working nearby.
11:27 He rescued Grandma from the cupboard,
11:29 and then they all had a cup of tea and a slice of freshly baked cake.
11:35 "Oh, lovely."
11:36 "I'll never talk to strangers ever again, Grandma."
11:41 The sly old wolf was never seen again.
11:49 And Grandma and Little Red Riding Hood lived happily ever after.
11:56 The end.
11:58 Now, who'd like some freshly baked cake?
12:02 Yes, please, Mummy.
12:04 Yummy!
12:06 - Me! (laughing)
