00:00 [MUSIC]
00:03 Okay, whose turn is it to tell a story?
00:06 It's my turn and I'm going to tell the story of the Lion and the Mice.
00:10 Don't you mean Mouse?
00:12 Not this time, because you're all going to be the little mice.
00:16 [MUSIC]
00:20 A mighty, mighty lion lay sleeping in his lair.
00:24 Three little mice came creeping by and stared.
00:28 One accidentally brushed up against the lion's paw.
00:31 Yikes, sorry Mr. Lion.
00:34 There ought to be a law.
00:36 Oh, sorry. I hope I didn't hurt you.
00:39 The lion drew his paw back and dropped it on the mouse.
00:43 The other mice were frightened and squealed.
00:46 You, Mouse!
00:47 I beg you Mr. Lion, kindly hear my plea.
00:51 I promise to repay you if you'll only set me free.
00:55 [MUSIC]
00:58 I'll be your best friend.
01:00 [MUSIC]
01:02 Well, I guess I could say yes, but only just this time.
01:06 Now scatter with your friends and I'll pay you no mind.
01:10 Oh, thank you Mr. Lion. I'm forever in your debt.
01:14 I guess not every lion is really such a threat.
01:17 Me too.
01:18 [MUSIC]
01:20 Go away.
01:21 [MUSIC]
01:24 So the great big lion let the little mouse go.
01:28 Phew, that was scary.
01:30 But that wasn't the end of the story.
01:33 Uh-oh.
01:34 Oh, do tell.
01:36 Yeah, go on.
01:38 [MUSIC]
01:43 Well, the lion went a-hunting and wound up in a net.
01:47 He paced and paced and growled and then began to fret.
01:50 He roared so very loud that the three mice heard his cry.
01:54 Is that your friend the lion?
01:56 He's in trouble, me oh my.
01:58 [MUSIC]
02:00 Hold on to your horses, I mean lions.
02:03 We're coming to the rescue.
02:06 Captured in the net, the lion paced and cried.
02:10 Unafraid, the little mice clobbered to his side.
02:14 They nibbled a big hole and became the lion's guide.
02:17 Well, what do you know, these little mice have now become my pride.
02:22 We're friends.
02:23 [MUSIC]
02:24 Friends to the end.
02:26 Nice, Mousy.
02:29 Friends are just like family and family just like friends.
02:33 I always keep my promises and that you can depend.
02:37 The lesson here is friendship, Mr. Lion, see.
02:41 Friendship is a gift that always sets you free.
02:45 [MUSIC]
02:51 So, so is this a story about lions that get trapped?
02:56 No, silly.
02:58 It's about friendship and kindness.
03:01 It sure is.
03:03 It's about always being there for your friends.
03:06 [LAUGHTER]
03:07 How was that?
03:09 Sweet.
03:10 [MUSIC]
03:14 [MUSIC]
03:19 Once upon a time.
03:21 No, wait.
03:22 Okay.
03:23 Do you want to tell the story?
03:25 No, I just like saying that.
03:28 [LAUGHTER]
03:29 Once upon a time.
03:31 [MUSIC]
03:35 Three little bears went out to play.
03:38 "I'll build a house of straw today,"
03:41 Said one little bear and just like that.
03:44 He built that house and then he took a nap.
03:48 But a mean old wolf woke him up.
03:52 Oh, no.
03:54 I'm a big bad wolf and I see you in there.
03:58 Open the door, little bear, beware.
04:02 He pounded the door.
04:04 Let me come in.
04:06 Not by the hairs of my beary chin-chin.
04:09 Then I'll huff and I'll puff and I'll blow your house in.
04:12 And he did and he laughed with the worst laugh there's ever been.
04:17 [LAUGHTER]
04:24 Maybe I should have used twigs instead of straw.
04:30 Out to play went two little bears.
04:34 "My house will be made of twigs, see there,"
04:37 Said the second little bear and just like that.
04:40 He built that house and then he took a nap.
04:45 But once again that mean old wolf woke him up.
04:50 I'm a big bad wolf and I see you there.
04:54 Open the door, little bear, beware.
04:57 Oh, dang.
04:58 He pounded the door.
05:00 Let me come in.
05:02 Not by the hairs of my beary chin-chin.
05:05 Then I'll huff and I'll puff and I'll blow your house in.
05:08 And he did and he laughed with the worst laugh there's ever been.
05:13 [LAUGHTER]
05:21 I guess we're going to have to build something that that mean old wolf can't blow down.
05:27 Just one little bear and she had to think quick.
05:30 I'll make my house out of sturdy brick,
05:33 Said the third little bear and just like that.
05:37 She built that house and then she took a nap.
05:41 And can you believe it?
05:43 That nasty old wolf woke her up.
05:47 I'm a big bad wolf and I see you in there.
05:50 Open the door, little bear, beware.
05:54 No.
05:55 He pounded the door.
05:57 Let me come in.
05:59 Not by the hairs of his beary chin-chin.
06:02 Then I'll huff and I'll puff and I'll blow your house in.
06:05 And he tried and he tried and he tried again.
06:09 Sheesh, get a hold of yourself.
06:13 So did he blow the house in?
06:23 Not by the hairs of his chinny chin-chin.
06:26 The bricks were too strong.
06:29 So what happened to the mean old wolf?
06:32 He was never to be seen again.
06:35 Wolves are like that.
06:38 Yeah, they are.
06:40 Oh, Daddy.
06:47 Come on, Joey. Tell us the Goldilocks story again.
06:56 I want to play Goldilocks this time.
06:59 'Cause, 'cause...
07:00 Okay, that'll be funny.
07:02 Out for a walk went Goldilocks.
07:05 In the woods she saw a house.
07:08 I'd like to go in and see what's there.
07:11 I'll be quiet as a mouse.
07:13 Oh, the three bears.
07:18 Right through the door went Goldilocks.
07:22 And what did she first see?
07:24 A table full of scrummy food.
07:27 Yum! Porridge!
07:30 One, two, three.
07:33 Oh!
07:35 But the first one was too cold.
07:38 Brrrr!
07:40 And the second one was too hot.
07:43 Ouch!
07:45 But the third one was just right.
07:48 And she ate it all in a shot.
07:51 Yummy!
07:54 Goldilocks saw three bear chairs inside the family room.
07:59 Oh! Hmm, I think I'll check them out.
08:02 And sing a little tune.
08:05 La, la, la, la, la, la, la.
08:08 La, la, la, la, la.
08:10 But the first chair was too big.
08:13 Oh!
08:15 Oh, my!
08:16 And the second one was too small.
08:18 Oh! Too tight.
08:21 But the third one was just right.
08:24 Ah! This is the best of all.
08:27 Oh! Oopsie daisy!
08:31 Oh, my!
08:33 When she plunked into the chair, it broke into a million pieces.
08:39 Oh, my! Look what I did.
08:42 Oh, well, this adventure has made me so sleepy.
08:48 I think I need a nap.
08:51 Goldilocks climbed the stairs to a bedroom with three beds.
08:56 Oh! Wow! Look at that!
08:59 I think I'll rest my head.
09:02 Don't mind if I do.
09:07 But the first bed was too lumpy.
09:10 Oh! Ow!
09:13 And the second one squishy, too.
09:15 Oh, no!
09:18 But the third one was just right.
09:20 Ah! This will do.
09:24 Oh!
09:26 [snoring]
09:28 While Goldilocks snored away, the three bears came back home.
09:33 The front door was wide open.
09:35 Oh, dear! It looks like we're not alone.
09:39 Oh, my!
09:43 Hmm! Someone's been eating my porridge.
09:47 Someone's been eating mine, too.
09:50 And somebody's finished my every drop.
09:53 That was mine, thank you.
09:56 Oh, dear!
09:58 Hmm!
10:01 Someone's been sitting in my chair.
10:03 Someone's been sitting here, too.
10:05 Uh-oh! Guess what? My chair is broke.
10:09 And that was good bamboo.
10:12 I think I hear something upstairs.
10:17 Someone's been sleeping in my bed.
10:19 And wouldn't you know it, mine, too.
10:22 And someone's been--look! She's in my bed.
10:25 Oh, dear! Who are you?
10:28 Uh, he-he, bye-bye. Thanks for everything.
10:33 Goldie raced into the woods and hid from everyone.
10:38 The bears could not believe their eyes.
10:41 The bears could not believe their eyes.
10:44 And now the story's done.
10:49 Did that really happen?
10:52 No, it's just a fairy tale.
10:55 Oh, but where are the fairies?
10:59 [laughing]
11:02 Funny!
11:05 [music plays]
11:08 I think it's my turn to tell a story.
11:11 Okay, but can we be in it?
11:13 Sure! I need three billy goats.
11:16 Archie, Luca, you in?
11:18 Yeah!
11:19 Tell us the story of the three billy goats' gruff.
11:21 Gruff!
11:23 Three billy goats' gruff set off to the hills
11:26 To eat green grass and get their fill.
11:29 They ate sweet grass all day long.
11:31 They ate and ate till it was gone.
11:34 Oh, look at that!
11:36 Oh, fresh green grass!
11:38 Across the river the little goats spied
11:40 A field of grass on the other side.
11:43 Cross the bridge and you pay a toll.
11:45 Not with coins, you feed the troll.
11:48 Oh, my!
11:50 The three billy goats' gruff were very scared of the troll.
11:55 But they were also very hungry.
11:58 Little billy goat gruff just couldn't wait any longer.
12:01 So off he went.
12:04 I may be scared but I'm hungry too.
12:06 And look at all that grass that's new.
12:09 Across the bridge to the other side.
12:11 He may be small but at least he tries.
12:14 But as the billy goat trip-trapped by,
12:18 The troll popped up from under the bridge and said,
12:22 Who's not trip-trapping across my bridge?
12:25 You won't get by me because I am going to eat you.
12:29 Mwa ha ha ha ha!
12:32 I'm a hairy troll with yellow eyes,
12:35 Horrid teeth and claws.
12:37 I'll eat you up if you cross my bridge with my rotten jaws.
12:42 It's only me, a baby goat.
12:44 I'm skinny as can be.
12:46 I really wouldn't taste that good.
12:49 But little goat, what do you see?
12:51 Yeah.
12:52 And he'll be coming along next.
12:54 Very well.
12:55 Beat it, kid.
12:57 He he he he!
13:00 Now middle goat was next to cross.
13:03 And off he went, trip-trap.
13:05 But on the bridge the troll appeared.
13:08 There's a tasty chap.
13:10 I'm a hairy troll with yellow eyes,
13:12 Horrid teeth and claws.
13:14 I'll eat you if you cross my bridge just because.
13:19 Who's not trip-trapping across my bridge?
13:22 Just me, old troll.
13:24 I'm a huff to eat that sweet green gruff,
13:26 Said the middle goat of the three.
13:28 Oh no, you're not, said the troll.
13:31 I'll eat you with my teeth.
13:33 But I'm almost skin and bones, you see.
13:36 No fat on me at all.
13:38 You'd really like my brother, see.
13:41 He's a butterball.
13:43 Oh, oh, okay.
13:45 Go.
13:46 I wait for big brother.
13:47 Mwa ha ha ha!
13:49 So the troll let the middle billy goat gruff cross the bridge
13:53 And waited for his tasty big brother.
13:56 Oh, this is not good.
14:00 So over the bridge the billy goat tramped,
14:04 Tramp, tramp on the wood.
14:06 Who's that tramping on my bridge?
14:09 It's big billy goat, you hairy monster.
14:12 Hey, that doesn't even rhyme.
14:13 I'm a hairy troll with yellow eyes,
14:16 Horrid teeth and claws.
14:18 I'll eat you up if you cross my bridge.
14:21 How about some applause?
14:23 [crowd cheers]
14:25 Me very hungry.
14:27 I'm on my way to eat green grass
14:30 And join my brothers too.
14:32 I dare you goat to cross my path.
14:35 My horns will charge you, shoo!
14:37 And with that, the big billy goat charged the troll
14:41 With his big pointy horns
14:44 And sent him tumbling backwards over the bridge.
14:47 Never to be seen again.
14:50 So now I'll see my brothers too
14:53 And we'll eat until we're fat.
14:55 We tricked that troll with a plan, you see.
14:58 What do you think of that?
15:00 What do you think of that?
15:02 I like it.
15:04 [laughing]
15:07 (laughing)
15:09 [BLANK_AUDIO]
