Principal and pupils express their 'pride and delight' in good Ofsted judgement

Castle View Enterprise Academy pupils react to the school's good Ofsted judgement.

00:00 Okay, so how do you feel about the good judgement then?

00:02 I'm very, very proud. We are delighted as a school to get a good outcome.

00:06 And was there any aspect of the report which pleased you most?

00:09 I think the relationships are really positive between our staff and students. The curriculum

00:15 is ambitious for all and we aim to meet the needs of all students. And I also feel that

00:20 our personal development is superb.

00:22 And what was the reaction of staff when you told them the judgement?

00:26 The staff were overjoyed and I think after a relentless two days they were very pleased

00:30 with the outcome.

00:31 Okay, then Jack, how do you feel about the school getting a good judgement then?

00:36 So I'm proud to go to a school that has good grade and knowing that the school I go to

00:40 is as good quality as the best it can be.

00:43 And Liv, are you proud to come to this school?

00:45 Yeah, really proud. It's like, this school's a big community and everyone just gets along

00:49 and the teachers are really good as well.

00:52 And Chew, what's the best thing about coming to this school?

00:54 I'd say the extracurricular activities because there's lots of opportunities in sport and

00:58 learning.

00:59 And what about you Charlie?

01:01 I think at the end of the year the teachers are the ones that get you the good grades

01:04 so I think the relationship between the students and staff is really special here.
