Gilas Pilipinas announces changes in line-up for Asian Games  Gilas Pilipinas taps Chris Ross, Kevin Alas, Arvin Tolentino, CJ Perez, and Marcio Lassiter to replace Calvin Abueva, Jason Perkins, Terrence Romeo, and Mo Tautuaa in the Asian Games slated from Sept. 23 to Oct. 8, 2023 in Hangzhou, China. Gilas team manager Al Francis Chua and interim coach Tim Cone made the announcement on Tuesday, September 19 at the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) office. Abueva, Perkins, Romeo, and Tautuaa were ruled ineligible as they were not on the original 60-man list and even in the revised 37-man list that the Asian Games Organizing Committee had received.
