00:00 Welcome back the new Paw Patrol movie comes out later this month and in honor of those special
00:05 Search and rescue dogs mom blogger Amy McConnell is here to help us make dog treats
00:10 For our own superstar dogs now Amy your son is not at all excited for this move
00:15 Oh my gosh. No. He just wakes up every morning saying it's today Paw Patrol day
00:19 Like we're making a paper chain for this movie. I hear that voice do it in his voice mama is Paw Patrol today
00:26 He's three and a half and he's so excited for his chase on the big screen
00:31 Yes, both of my boys were obsessed with chase and Everett and rubble and Ryder and all the characters
00:36 Yes, so this is huge for moms of young children
00:39 Everywhere and you know to help them deal with the anticipation and the countdown you have activities that you do for the kids
00:48 And I think this is so adorable
00:50 DIY doggy treats
00:52 Yes, and I think the best part about this is not only does it fill the time at home
00:56 Yeah, your little ones and when they're counting down for this movie
00:59 But also these are all ingredients that you probably already have at home
01:02 So you don't have to add to your grocery budget or go make a special run
01:06 You can really just grab and go so we did two today so you can do it
01:10 You know two separate days with your kids. We did the cookies the pumpkin and it's fall
01:15 Oh, wait a second. Don't tell Brad those are pumpkin spice dog biscuits. Yeah, he will come out here, right?
01:22 So good and then we did
01:24 Ice cream for dogs as well
01:26 So that's super fun
01:27 And these are so much more affordable than the frosty paws that you can buy in store from the freezer section
01:32 So really fun and actually kids can eat this as well. It's a healthy drink
01:38 Okay, so talk to me about the pumpkin. Yes, so for fall, of course, we had to go pumpkin
01:43 so really again all home ingredients you already have the dry goods are just the
01:48 Whole wheat flour some baking soda baking powder and then we've got coconut oil and pumpkin and an egg
01:54 So you just are gonna mix that all together and get this it feels just like cookie dough really
01:59 It does yeah, and you can get you right
02:03 This is really what makes it and they also on Amazon have even paw patrol cookie cutters as well
02:09 So you can kind of have a lot of fun with it. So you just roll it out
02:13 And again, this is something that the kids can really get into kids love getting a mess, right?
02:17 mm-hmm, so stamp them out and then you just bake them in the oven and
02:21 How long are you baking and at what temperature 350 for 30 minutes?
02:27 Look at how cute this is and if your kid happens to eat this it's pumpkin coconut. Yes egg and flour
02:34 Yes, so it's completely yes completely. I mean my son definitely it's like one scoop for you know, the cookies one for me
02:40 So we do that a lot and then the ice cream as well is so easy
02:44 All it is is plain Greek yogurt a banana and peanut butter again like wait a second
02:50 I want to eat this right. This is actually really healthy plain Greek yogurt
02:55 Banana banana and peanut butter and maybe if you're not a peanut butter kid or you have an allergy
03:00 Option yeah, and you just put these little cups and froze it. Yeah. Yeah
03:06 Wow, so fun and then you can just you know, keep it you can give your dog and your toddler
03:12 One a day until the movie comes out. I'm gonna test this to make sure it's okay. What's your dog's name?
03:16 Lily Lily, what kind of dog? She's a Bijan frisee little white marshmallow and she's really excited for this spread. It's good
03:23 He's not gonna get this ice cream
03:25 Do not use vanilla yogurt if you're going to give them to your dog vanilla yogurt isn't as safe
03:31 So make sure you do use the plain yogurt you tell me now
03:34 What if something happens to me Amy live on the air and I can't complete the segment Brad's gonna have to run in
03:40 No, I'm fine because you didn't put vanilla in there. I knew I'm Greek yogurt
03:45 I knew that chocolate wasn't good for dogs, but I didn't know vanilla
03:48 Yeah, we were googling it last night to kind of you know, like play with it
03:51 And so well, let's talk about the movie because it opens September 29th, but there's a sneak preview
