Saudi National Day is celebrated on September 23rd to commemorate the unification of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 1932 by King Abdulaziz Al Saud. King Abdulaziz was a tribal leader who, over the course of several decades, conquered and unified most of the Arabian Peninsula. On September 23, 1932, he issued a royal decree proclaiming the establishment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
