00:02 and today we're breaking down the Marvel comics
00:04 that may or may not serve as inspiration
00:06 for the rumored upcoming Doctor Strange sequel
00:09 that may or may not directly set up the events
00:11 of Avengers Secret Wars.
00:13 Time Runs Out was an Avengers-centric crossover event
00:17 that built up to 2015's epic
00:19 Secret Wars comic book miniseries.
00:21 And I'm gonna tell you everything
00:22 that happens in that buildup.
00:23 But before I do, just real quick,
00:25 a reminder that New Rockstars is now three channels,
00:27 this main one, the break room, and the deep dive,
00:29 so make sure you're subscribed to all three
00:32 in case this topic is explored further
00:34 across the New Rockstars-verse.
00:36 The fall of the Marvel Universe begins
00:38 in Avengers issue number 35 and goes through to issue 44,
00:41 New Avengers issues 24 through 33,
00:44 and even the last five issues of Avengers World,
00:46 plus a sprinkle of Miles Morales' The Ultimate Spider-Man,
00:49 which we'll get to.
00:50 There is a ton to go over,
00:51 so I just wanna take another brief second to say,
00:54 if you're even slightly interested in this,
00:55 go read these comics yourself, they're amazing.
00:58 And here's a Hector tip.
00:59 Put on the Avengers movie scores while reading
01:01 just to ratchet up the amazingness.
01:03 The comics are full of so many incredible moments
01:06 and fantastic character interactions,
01:07 but I can't possibly mention them all here,
01:09 so please check your local bookstore or your local library
01:13 or read them online with Marvel Unlimited,
01:14 and I promise you'll be glad that you did.
01:16 And now into the breakdown.
01:18 At this point in the Marvel Comics multiverse,
01:20 incursions have begun.
01:21 An incursion is a collision of worlds
01:24 that is the harbinger of the death of universes,
01:26 and some major players are already trying
01:28 to do something about it.
01:29 After the Illuminati refuses to destroy other realities
01:33 just to save their own,
01:34 Namor does it for them and assembles the Cabal
01:36 to continue helping him.
01:38 The Cabal consists of Namor, Thanos, Proxima Midnight,
01:42 Corvus Glaive, Maximus of the Inhumans,
01:45 Terax the truly enlightened, a former herald of Galactus
01:48 from another universe, Galactus with a K,
01:51 and Black Swan, a woman who escaped her dying universe,
01:54 and not at all a ballerina played by Natalie Portman.
01:56 Before the main Time Runs Out storyline begins,
01:59 we gotta talk about the tie-in issues of Avengers World
02:02 that show us how some of the characters
02:04 are in the spot they're in before time runs out,
02:06 in a story arc called Before Time Runs Out.
02:09 For example, we see how Smasher, real name Isabel Izzy Kane,
02:12 a former sub-guardian of the Shi'ar Imperial Guard
02:15 and current Avenger, learns she's pregnant,
02:17 and how she tells her partner, Cannonball,
02:19 real name Sam Guthrie, former member of the New Mutants
02:22 and current Avenger, and it's really sweet and romantic.
02:25 And nine months later, their baby boy is born.
02:27 We see the seeds of doubt in Namor,
02:29 maybe beginning to regret his actions.
02:31 We also see how Sam's former New Mutants
02:34 and current Avenger teammate, Sunspot,
02:36 real name Roberto Da Costa, uses his ridiculous wealth
02:39 as the CEO of Da Costa International
02:42 to buy advanced idea mechanics,
02:44 and puts AIM's evil scientist to work
02:46 on trying to solve this world-threatening problem.
02:49 Well, after he takes care of the current scientist supreme
02:52 and his loyal AIM henchwoman, Monica Rappaccini,
02:55 can you say hostile takeover? (laughs)
02:57 Sunspot starts building up a new Avengers team too,
03:00 and asks teleporter Manifold, real name Eden Fessy,
03:04 to help by taking them to the Savage Land
03:06 to recruit a refugee from another destroyed universe,
03:09 the super strong Hyperion.
03:11 Next up is Shang-Chi, who is gonna factor
03:13 into Roberto's plans, accessing a new power
03:16 at a quarantined former site of an origin bomb on Earth.
03:19 The way he accesses that power is super cool,
03:21 because Shang-Chi is super cool.
03:23 And we also see how Thor Odinson, now unworthy
03:26 after the events of "Original Sin,"
03:27 is brooding in the Savage Land,
03:29 hanging with Hyperion and the indigenous scientists there
03:32 called the Children of the Sun, or the Zebra Kids.
03:35 Odinson, as Thor has come to call himself,
03:37 gets some of his godly groove back
03:39 after those pesky former AIM leaders attack the Savage Land,
03:43 which was all part of Sunspot's plan
03:44 to juice the Thunder God for what's coming next,
03:47 knowing that he would defeat
03:48 the former AIM scientists pretty easily.
03:50 And Namor reaches out to Mr. Fantastic
03:52 and Hank McCoy Beast, and that's where we're at
03:55 before time runs out.
03:56 So now, it's been eight months since Steve Rogers,
03:59 who's aged since his super soldier serum
04:02 was neutralized by the villain the Iron Nail,
04:04 but who still looks like he's in incredible shape,
04:06 learned what the Illuminati was doing
04:08 and declared them enemies of the Avengers
04:10 that they would arrest.
04:11 The Illuminati consists of Reed Richards,
04:13 Beast, Doc Green, which is what Hulk is going by these days,
04:17 kind of like a smart Hulk or a smug Hulk,
04:19 Black Bolt of the Inhumans, Black Panther T'Challa,
04:21 Captain Britain, Brian Braddock, Yellow Jacket, Hank Pym,
04:24 Amadeus Cho, Doctor Strange, and Iron Man,
04:27 and they go into hiding.
04:28 Only Iron Man goes missing and no one knows where he is
04:31 because he was captured by the Cabal.
04:32 But Amadeus Cho, being one of the smartest minds
04:34 in the Marvel Universe,
04:35 breaks into SHIELD Station Golgotha,
04:37 formerly Avengers Tower,
04:38 to try and get access to Tony Stark's tech,
04:41 but he's intercepted when Maria Hill
04:43 sends the best SHIELD unit they have, the Avengers,
04:46 which consists of Hawkeye, Clint Barton,
04:48 Captain Marvel, Carol Danvers,
04:49 Captain America, Sam Wilson,
04:51 war machine drones piloted remotely by James Rhodes,
04:54 invisible woman, Susan Richards,
04:55 who's determined to hunt down her husband, Reed,
04:57 and all of them led by that sexy silver fox, Steve Rogers,
05:01 the man in the chair.
05:02 Namor's getting more desperate and more full of regret
05:05 because the Cabal is just relishing
05:07 killing entire universes, and it's bumming Namor out.
05:10 He dines with Victor Von Doom and his adoptive son,
05:13 Christoph Vernard in Latveria,
05:15 asking for his help in stopping the out-of-control Cabal.
05:18 But Doom refuses, that pesky pride of his.
05:21 If only Namor had come to Doom first
05:23 instead of throwing his lot in with those psychopaths.
05:26 Speaking of the Cabal,
05:27 they've taken over Wakanda and the necropolis,
05:29 the Wakandan city of the dead,
05:31 where previous Black Panthers are buried
05:33 and where Black Panthers T'Challa and Shuri escape from
05:36 thanks to members of the Dora Milaje and Hatta Zoraze,
05:39 sacrificing themselves so their Panthers
05:41 can live to fight another day.
05:42 But Shuri decides to stay behind,
05:44 presumably meeting her demise fighting off the invaders.
05:47 And back in Latveria, after Namor leaves,
05:50 Doom checks in with his team
05:51 trying to solve the incursion problem.
05:53 His scientist, the Mad Thinker,
05:55 and his captive, Owen Reese, the Molecule Man.
05:58 Molecule Man, hoo boy, he's a whole thing.
06:00 We're gonna get to more of him later.
06:01 Starbrand, real name Kevin Conner,
06:04 and Nightmask, real name Adam Blackvale,
06:06 which is the most metal name ever, by the way,
06:08 are two people who were ascended by the last White Event
06:11 and got near unlimited powers
06:13 because of the multiversal incursions.
06:15 They became tools of the builders,
06:17 the universe's first sentient race
06:19 that built systems to control space and time,
06:22 and were supposed to replace the builders' older tools,
06:25 the Gardeners, the Abyss, and the Alephs.
06:27 Starbrand and Nightmask joined the Avengers
06:30 once the builders' existence was found out,
06:32 and they helped the heroes fight them off in the Builder War.
06:35 Now, they're out in deep space and they encounter a problem,
06:38 the Aleph from another universe being pushed into ours.
06:41 They head to Earth to try and get to the bottom of this
06:43 when they realize Roberto da Costa
06:45 is dealing with the same problem.
06:47 Thankfully, AIM's multiversal transporter machine
06:49 is almost done, so Kevin and Adam
06:52 ask to join Roberto's new multiversal Avengers,
06:55 Odinson, Hyperion, Abyss, the last one in existence,
06:59 and one of the Gardeners created by the builders,
07:01 ex-Nihilo.
07:03 After Amadeus Cho is captured,
07:05 Beast is able to hack into Tony Stark's files
07:07 at Avengers Tower, but the Illuminati are still on the run,
07:10 and T'Challa joins up with them to inform them
07:12 that, like Olympus, Wakanda has fallen.
07:15 Terax, the truly enlightened, pulls a truly dick move
07:18 and informs the United Nations that, yes,
07:20 the world is indeed ending,
07:21 while the SHIELD Avengers catch up
07:23 with what the Illuminati and Roberto da Costa are up to.
07:26 Invisible woman, Susan Richards,
07:27 later secretly meets up with her husband, Reed,
07:30 who she's been working with all this time,
07:32 and gives him a note from their super-duper genius daughter,
07:35 Valeria.
07:36 The note says, "You can't win.
07:37 "Time to start figuring out how not to lose."
07:40 Ouch!
07:40 Thanks for the vote of confidence, daughter.

07:46 Okay, I'll try it.

08:26 Some more members of Roberto da Costa's new Avengers,
08:29 Spider-Woman Jessica Drew,
08:30 and Black Widow Natasha Romanoff,
08:32 sneak into Wakanda and are almost spotted
08:34 by Proxima Midnight and her hubby, Corvus Glaive,
08:37 who are bragging about having destroyed 14 realities so far.
08:40 Those jerks.
08:41 No one else on their team knows that they're there,
08:43 but Jess and Nat are going to potentially
08:45 free the Cabal's captive, Tony Stark,
08:48 who they've tracked down until they talk to Tony
08:50 and his damn ego gets in the way.
08:52 Tony doesn't think he's in the wrong at all
08:54 after all his Illuminati plans,
08:56 and so Jess and Nat walk away.
08:58 Oof, Tony, come on, man.
09:00 Then Roberto starts laying out his plans.
09:02 He's talked with Cyclops, leader of the X-Men,
09:05 who said he had a Phoenix egg, which is terrifying.
09:07 Roberto reveals he's got a man
09:09 on the inside of the Illuminati,
09:10 former X-Man Beast, who's been feeding him intel.
09:13 Also, Jess and Nat, formerly of the Shield Avengers,
09:15 have been feeding him intel too.
09:17 Roberto's got all the intel, basically.
09:18 Steve Rogers has apparently been putting together
09:21 some secret plans himself,
09:22 but Roberto has been gathering power
09:24 put in the Earth by ex-Nihilo,
09:26 like self-sustenance in the form of the Children of the Sun,
09:29 a self-defense mechanism in the form of Pod,
09:32 a human girl bonded with an alien system armor,
09:35 the power of evolution in the form of Validator,
09:37 a Canadian superhero with a time-fluctuating energy field,
09:41 and Shang-Chi, who's able to access the power of replication
09:45 and who can now make an army of Shang-Chis.
09:47 Dope.
09:48 So in hopes of finding the decay of the multiverse,
09:51 Roberto da Costa's multiversal Avengers,
09:53 along with a bunch of the Builders' gardeners,
09:55 the ex-Nihilai, plural, are sent across the multiverse
09:59 to the Temple of the Black Priests
10:01 in the nothing space of destroyed universes.
10:03 The priests look pretty freaky deaky,
10:05 so obviously the Avengers start kicking their asses.
10:07 But the Black Priests defend themselves handily
10:10 and take out a bunch of ex-Nihilai.
10:11 Then Odinson calls on the power of a hammer
10:14 from another universe, the hammer of Thor the Unworthy,
10:17 Thor with two Rs, whose owner was apparently
10:19 a monstrous brute, and Odinson starts kicking asses again.
10:23 Then wouldn't you know it, the leader of the Black Priests,
10:26 the Great Eye, appears,
10:27 and it's none other than Dr. Stephen Strange.
10:30 It was all a misunderstanding!
10:31 Strange and the Black Priests are trying to save
10:34 the multiverse, not destroy it.
10:35 In fact, he tells the Avengers
10:37 they need to defeat a group called the Ivory Kings
10:39 and someone called Rabam-Alal
10:41 to truly stop the end of everything.
10:43 And he's not lying.
10:44 Back on Earth in España, the Illuminati send a message
10:47 to S.H.I.E.L.D. for them to track down, and boy do they.
10:50 It kinda looks like the S.H.I.E.L.D. Avengers
10:52 might have the Illuminati on the ropes,
10:53 but then the new Avengers, led by Sunspot, arrive.
10:57 In desperation, Steve Rogers and Maria Hill
10:59 throw an emotionally neutered, sociopathic Bruce Banner
11:03 under their control from another dimension
11:05 off the helicarrier to join the fray below.
11:07 Then, the Shang-Chi army drops in from Sunspot's ship
11:11 above the helicarrier.
11:12 And then, Rogers pulls his secret move.
11:15 A brand new team of mighty Avengers.
11:17 Luke Cage, White Tiger, Spider-Man, Peter Parker,
11:20 Blue Marvel, She-Hulk, Power Man, Victor Alvarez,
11:23 and Spectrum Monica Rambeau.
11:25 And this is just the coolest team ever.
11:27 I love them, they're great.
11:28 But it's a double, triple, quadruple cross
11:30 as Reed Richards plays his finishing move,
11:33 asking his wife to shut everybody down.
11:35 Invisible Woman incapacitates everyone on the battlefield
11:38 and shows up with Medusa, Black Bolt, and Namor.
11:42 Surprise, he's back on the good guy's side, kind of.
11:45 In a flashback in Wakanda,
11:47 King T'Chaka gives his son T'Challa a king's blade.
11:50 Much later, but still in the past,
11:52 T'Challa gives the blade to his sister, Shuri.
11:54 And after the fall of Necropolis,
11:56 she gives it back to him and asks him to, quote,
11:58 "Put it where it belongs."
12:00 In the present, all parties present begin to talk,
12:02 but only after Steve Rogers demands that Namor,
12:05 Richards, Beast, even T'Challa turn themselves in
12:08 when this is over for their crimes.
12:10 Everyone agrees except T'Challa.
12:12 In any case, Namor and the Illuminati go over their plan
12:14 to take out the Cabal during the next incursion,
12:17 where Namor plans to betray them.
12:19 The plan works, Namor makes his planned escape,
12:21 except before he can, Black Panther and Black Bolt
12:24 appear in front of Namor.
12:25 Black Panther betrays Namor, stabs him with the king's blade,
12:28 putting it where it belongs to make sure he paid
12:31 for the fall of Wakanda.
12:32 And Black Bolt yells farewell to the Sub-Mariner,
12:35 knocking him back down to the planet
12:37 where he stuck with the Cabal.
12:39 I guess Namor fished around and found out.
12:42 Reed then explains everything to the Avengers,
12:44 including that there are only less than
12:46 two dozen universes left,
12:48 and that they'll avoid all the remaining incursions
12:50 until the last one.
12:51 Dr. Doom and the Molecule Man disappeared from Earth-616
12:55 and landed somewhere in a white void.
12:57 Reed says he doesn't know what'll happen in the end,
12:59 and T'Challa tells Steve Rogers they tried a bunch of things
13:02 to prevent this, but nothing worked.
13:04 Just then, Hank Pym appears and says he found
13:07 the Ivory Kings, also known as the Beyonders.
13:10 Before we jump into what the hell Hank Pym
13:12 learned about the multiverse,
13:13 I gotta tell you about our universe,
13:15 which is filled with new Rockstars merch,

13:57 Six months ago, in reality 1610,
14:00 also known as the home of ultimate Marvel comics,
14:02 Nick Fury recruited Reed Richards
14:05 to begin contingency plans for world-threatening events.
14:08 Now, Richards confirms he's killed 67 realities
14:12 to save his own.
14:13 In reality 616, in Shi'ar space,
14:16 Imperial Guard member Mentor confirms something
14:18 with the Magistor of the Shi'ar Empire, Gladiator,
14:21 who later confers with the heads of galactic empires
14:24 like the Kree, the Brood, the Skrull,
14:26 and Annihilus of the Negative Zone.
14:28 These assembled parties agree
14:30 that they need to destroy Earth
14:31 so that the rest of the universe can live.
14:33 Back in reality 1610,
14:34 Richards, now calling himself the Maker,
14:36 finds the Cabal, who have escaped their trap
14:39 set for them by the Illuminati,
14:40 because the world they were on that was set to be destroyed
14:43 was also about to deal with a second incursion,
14:45 connecting them to this Reed Richards universe, reality 1610.
14:50 Okay, so Hank Pym tells the rest of the Illuminati
14:52 about the White Lords from Wild Space, the Beyonders,
14:55 how the Beyonder they dealt with
14:57 in the original Secret Wars comic miniseries from the '80s
14:59 was a child unit,
15:01 visually modified to mimic what it could perceive,
15:03 playing with toys.
15:04 But these other Beyonders are not children,
15:06 and they deal with universes, plural, not just one universe.
15:09 It took Pym 163 days to travel through dying universes
15:14 to find a superstation of refugee builders
15:16 from hundreds of dead universes.
15:18 The builders found where the Ivory Kings were located
15:21 and went there, but it was a trap.
15:22 Captain Britten, Brian Braddock,
15:24 then shows up to the Illuminati and confirms this.
15:27 The multiversal Captain Britten Corps
15:29 did the opposite of what Hank did.
15:30 They sent a beacon that the Beyonders followed
15:33 to their starlight citadel,
15:34 and only one Captain Britten, Brian, survived.
15:37 Pym saw the Beyonders kill celestials of every universe,
15:41 then abstract entities.
15:42 We're talking eternity, the in-betweener, Lord Chaos,
15:45 Master Order, and infinity of every universe.
15:49 And finally, the living tribunal of every remaining reality.
15:53 So Pym said, "We're (beep)."
15:55 In the final days of the Marvel universe,
15:56 our heroes make plans.
15:58 In the Baxter Building, Black Panther went over
16:00 the multiversal lifeboat he designed for Reed,
16:03 who took his daughter's advice.
16:05 Also in New York City, Smasher, Izzy Kane,
16:07 got recalled back to the Imperial Guard
16:09 after spending time with Sam and her baby.
16:11 Imperial Guard member Oracle tells Gladiator
16:14 not to destroy Earth, but Mentor tells him they must.
16:17 So Gladiator makes the call,
16:18 and alien armadas head to Earth.
16:20 The Guardians of the Galaxy, Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax,
16:23 Rocket Raccoon, and Groot intercept that call
16:25 and go to Earth to warn its heroes.
16:27 And Rocket calls them all idiots for wanting to defend it
16:30 instead of just leaving for safety.
16:32 Classic Rocket.
16:33 On Earth 1903, 990, there is a door to the Library of Worlds,
16:38 and the Great Eye of the Black Priests, Dr. Strange,
16:40 gives the order to attack and try and take the door,
16:43 but a Black Swan escapes through it.
16:45 Strange and the Order open the door and track the Black Swan,
16:48 who they'll need to get to Rabam-Alal.
16:50 But it's a trap into a void where no one can speak words,
16:54 the source of the Black Priests' power.
16:56 The entire Order is all killed except for Strange,
16:59 who's then captured and taken to see Rabam-Alal himself,
17:02 who is none other than Dr. Frickin' Doom.
17:05 Victor Von Doom tells Steven he's ready for war,
17:07 and he shows him Owen Reese, the Molecule Man,
17:10 and Reese is observing the Beyonders.
17:12 At the remains of Earth 1120006,
17:15 a shattered mapmaker world,
17:17 the Multiversal Avengers see a non-functional mapmaker,
17:20 who they will need to get to the Ivory Kings.
17:22 Adam, the Nightmask capable of navigating
17:25 the dreamscape of human potential,
17:27 boy, put that on your resume,
17:28 sacrifices himself to transport the Avengers
17:31 to where they need to go,
17:32 because the cost of his power is temporal regression,
17:35 and he de-ages himself to pre-life.
17:38 Hoof, the Avengers are confronted by two beings
17:40 who claim they are beyond understanding,
17:42 beyond acquiescence, beyond justice, beyond the Avengers.
17:46 The ex-Nihilai fully realize the Beyonders' current form,
17:50 and ex-Nihilo and Abyss sacrifice themselves
17:53 to reshape the Beyonder into a tree.
17:55 The other Beyonder disarms Thor, stabs the Starbrand,
17:58 blinds one eye of Hyperion,
18:00 but Kevin can't contain his power and explodes,
18:02 destroying the remaining Beyonder.
18:04 Then, many more Beyonders come through the hole in space.
18:07 Thor becomes worthy again,
18:08 so unworthy to lift Thor with two R's hammer.
18:11 He and Hyperion fly into battle one last time.
18:14 It's gonna start getting sad, y'all.
18:16 We learn the Illuminati freed Tony Stark
18:18 from his cage in Necropolis
18:20 before Rogers and the SHIELD Avengers arrived,
18:22 just so they didn't risk starting up
18:24 the Stark-Rogers beef again.
18:26 Gladiator of the Shi'ar Empire gives warning
18:28 to the people of Earth before their attack,
18:30 and then Reed Richards gives Steve Rogers
18:32 access to a Tony Stark plan.
18:34 Stark built an automated control system
18:36 for the planet-killer ship
18:38 they captured during the Builder War.
18:39 Smasher respectfully denied going back to the Imperial Guard,
18:43 and it was cool, and Dacosta International
18:45 orbiting satellites fire at the alien armada from Earth
18:48 while the planet-killer fires at the armada from space,
18:51 but the satellites lose power,
18:52 and then Gladiator sends the Annihilation Wave
18:55 to destroy the planet-killer ship.
18:56 Then the Illuminati pull off some other insane plan,
18:59 all thanks to Tony Stark.
19:01 This brings us to the Molecule Man, Owen Reese.
19:03 This guy has always been kind of a B or C list
19:06 Fantastic Four villain, even though he's extremely powerful,
19:09 powerful enough to reshape reality at a molecular level,
19:12 which is why he's called the Molecule Man.
19:15 That white void we saw earlier was, in fact,
19:17 Reese and Doom traveling back through time
19:19 to Owen Reese's origin as the Molecule Man.
19:22 He reveals to Doom that he's the Beyonders' bomb
19:25 to end the multiverse, a singular being
19:28 across all of space and time
19:30 with a single shared consciousness.
19:32 Reese explains that if he dies, his universe goes with it,
19:35 and that Doom will have to stop the Beyonders
19:37 by going back in time
19:38 and killing Molecule Men across realities.
19:41 Reese will undoubtedly lose his grip on his sanity
19:43 and not be able to help,
19:44 so Doom will need to start a religion to gather that help.
19:47 Victor Von Doom will have to become

20:04 Doom created the incursions to begin with
20:06 because he and Reese were killing other Molecule Men.
20:09 The Beyonders try to stop Doom's actions
20:11 by having map makers chart realities
20:14 where Molecule Man had died.
20:15 And back in the present, Victor tells Stephen Strange
20:18 that the Beyonders could never stop him
20:20 or go back in time to stop him
20:21 because they are linear.
20:22 For all their power, they can't time travel, baby.
20:25 Then Doom, Strange, and Reese confront the Beyonders
20:28 and all goes white.
20:29 This is what caused the multiverse
20:30 to narrow down to less than two dozen.
20:32 And over in the last issue of Miles Morales,
20:35 the ultimate Spider-Man,
20:36 Spider-Man, Miles Morales was getting so good
20:39 at what he does,
20:39 getting to a point in his career
20:41 where he was able to take down his universe's Dr. Doom
20:44 single-handedly, just kicking that dude's entire ass.
20:47 Miles and the rest of his family and friends
20:49 and even enemies wouldn't be able to escape
20:51 the collapse of the multiverse.
20:53 Spidey looked up into the sky
20:54 to see another Earth in an incursion.
20:57 So yes, Tony Stark uses the sun's power
21:00 to destroy the entire alien armada back in reality 616.
21:04 And on Earth 1610, the Maker invites Nick Fury
21:07 and Hawkeye to the city,
21:09 where he reveals he's been working
21:10 on defending their reality for a year.
21:12 Back on Earth 616, T'Challa informs President Barack Obama
21:15 that everyone's time is up in less than six hours.
21:18 Then back on Earth 1610, Richards informs Fury
21:21 he just killed another world
21:22 so that there are only two left.
21:24 And Thanos warns Fury that the final world, Earth 616,
21:28 is full of the greatest heroes you have ever met,
21:31 the valiant, the courageous,
21:33 and that they better find a way to kill them all.
21:35 So Fury prepares his Earth's heroes to defend it.
21:39 Both Earths prepare for the end of the universe.
21:42 And Steve Rogers spends his final moments
21:44 kicking Tony Stark's ass.
21:46 I guess he can do this all day, until the end of the line.
21:49 But it's not the end.
21:50 It's all to be continued in 2015's "Secret Wars."
21:54 And what an ending.
21:55 How much of "Time Runs Out"
21:56 will influence the Marvel Cinematic Universe
