00:00 Hi, I'm Stephen, National Wales Digital Trends Writer, and welcome back to another episode of
00:03 Screenbabel Weekend Watch, where I'll be talking you through the best shows to stream and watch
00:09 on TV this weekend and beyond. So as I mentioned in the main podcast, which you should definitely
00:15 check out, Top Boys Season 5, the final series is coming to Netflix. All six episodes will land
00:22 on Thursday, the 7th of September. The series sees the Shane and Sully's relationship continue to
00:29 break down, and a new Irish threat played by Barry Kern is on the scene. So a very interesting final
00:37 series. Then Virgin River, also Season 5, also landing on Netflix, also on the 7th of September.
00:43 That's the romantic drama series based on the Robin Carnival. This new series, which will be
00:50 made of 10 episodes coming on the 7th of September, and a further two episodes holiday specials coming
00:56 in November. We'll see Mel attempt to reconcile motherhood with her career, and her partner Jack
01:03 continue his battle with PTSD from his time in the Marines. Then we have a busy Friday. So Friday,
01:11 the 8th, we have the Celebrating Masterchef final on BBC1 at 9pm. This will see the three finalists
01:18 tasked with cooking a three-course meal in just two hours for Greg and John. Then on Friday as
01:27 well, we have The Nun 2, exclusively in cinemas. This is the horror sequel, this time set in France
01:33 in 1956. And when a priest is murdered, Sister Irene once again faces off against the demon
01:41 Nun, which we saw in the first film. It's also part of the Conjuring universe as well.
01:47 Another horror project out on Friday is The Changeling on Apple TV. This is a horror series
01:55 set in alternative New York City, where a man searches for his abducted son and his missing
02:03 wife in a sort of magical fantasy world. Three episodes will land on Friday, and then a further
02:10 five episodes will air weekly on Fridays on Apple TV. Then lastly on Friday, we have Burning Body,
02:20 a Netflix crime series, a Spanish crime series loosely inspired by a true story. And it follows
02:27 a demerit of a police officer and the suspicion that then befalls the police officer's partner
02:34 and her lover. So all eight episodes landing in one go on Netflix on Friday.
02:40 Then we get into the weekend proper. On Saturday the 9th, we have The Last Night of the Proms.
02:46 So this will be a big watch for those who are interested in the classical music genre. So it's
02:53 airing in two parts. Part one of The Last Night airs at 7pm on BBC2, and then we head over to BBC1
03:01 for part two from 9pm. Then again on Saturday, we have the World Cup qualifier, England versus
03:09 Ukraine. So this will be a big watch. Gareth Southgate's Lions take on Ukraine on Channel 4
03:16 at 4pm. Okay, well that's all from me for Weekend Watch. Join me again next week for more
03:24 recommendations for what to watch in the week ahead. Thanks very much.
