00:00 What happened was, I was on my bike and I was going to jump out of this ramp here, the extension as we call it here, like I usually do.
00:08 And as I've come down, I've hit here, got my front wheel turned and hit that part.
00:15 So I've slipped, bike went under me and I've just whacked the side of my face under there.
00:21 Right on that spot there, girl there, that's where I've just pushed the bike off because there was heaps of little kids around watching.
00:29 Got off and walked around there and that's when the lady that rang the ambulance for me went from there, I guess.
00:37 And this is the first day you've been back at the skate park since?
00:39 First day being back at the skate park since my accident.
00:41 How do you feel?
00:42 I feel good actually. I thought I was going to have some panic attacks, you know, be a bit scared because I personally thought I was never going to ride again.
00:48 But looking on from now, I know I will, with a helmet.
00:53 Because growing up, I used to hate helmets, they're ugly, they don't make you look good, but they are safety.
00:59 They do f*cking save your life.
01:01 I just know that I might have been in a better position that day if I could have been wearing a helmet.
