00:00 A cold front is sweeping across parts of southeastern Australia with showers, storms and gusty winds

00:08 expected over some areas in New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania. Elsewhere, it will

00:14 be mild to warm, tending hot in the north with dry and sunny weather as high pressure

00:19 dominates. In Queensland, there will be showers and thunderstorms in southern and central

00:24 districts. There will be the risk of isolated severe thunderstorms in the southeast, mostly

00:29 sunny elsewhere. In Brisbane, there will be a shower or two with a top of 25. In New South

00:35 Wales, a shower or two there and the chance of thunderstorms in the northeast, northern

00:39 inland and far south. It will be dry elsewhere. Sydney, a shower or two and a possible storm

00:44 and 25. In Canberra, a possible shower and 18. In Victoria, scattered showers will become

00:51 isolated from the west in the afternoon. There will be the possibility of thunderstorms near

00:56 the Otway coast and in the east, cloudy elsewhere. In Melbourne, showers with a top of 15. In

01:02 Tasmania, showers mainly about the west with possible thunderstorms about King Island and

01:08 the northwest coast. A shower or two for Hobart with a top of 15. In South Australia, there

01:14 will be showers developing around the agricultural area from the afternoon and possible thunderstorms

01:19 near eastern border districts during the late afternoon. In Adelaide, there will be a shower

01:24 or two and 16. Looking west to WA, it will be a partly cloudy day over southern districts,

01:30 a sunny day over the remainder. In Perth, it will be sunny and 24. Further north, it

01:36 is a sunny day across the board with some morning fog about. It will be a top of 35

01:43 in Darwin. Now, looking ahead to the capitals for the weather tomorrow in Brisbane, there

01:49 will be a possible storm with a top of 27 in Sydney, a shower or two and 19 in Canberra,

01:55 partly cloudy with a top of 17 there. In Melbourne, a shower or two and 16. A shower or two in

02:01 Hobart with a top of 15. It will be a cloudy day in Adelaide and 16. In Perth, it will

02:06 be sunny and 28 and a sunny day in Darwin with a top of 34.
