00:00 Let's do it together. One, two, three!
00:05 In the speech, you said that we might become the digital tiger.
00:15 Is this a part of your struggle?
00:18 Yes. That's more or less the slogan or vision that I started to express in the ministry.
00:29 As a rallying point for various initiatives in the ministry.
00:41 For example, as Mr Mahathir Aziz, the CEO of MDEC said,
00:48 we have three important things for the ministry.
00:51 First, infrastructure, including ensuring that the last 3% of the population has no connectivity.
01:00 We will solve that problem.
01:02 Second, guaranteeing or increasing the level of cyber security and also personal data maintenance.
01:10 Third, increasing the amount of investment and developing the digital economy.
01:15 So, if we can do all three things through various agencies and parties under the Ministry of Communication and Digital,
01:24 I believe that the people will enjoy the benefits of this effort.
01:29 And that's what we call success.
01:32 In the end, Malaysia can be seen as an Asian digital tiger.
01:39 Another component is that many companies are starting to consider developing their operations in Malaysia,
01:52 including increasing the number of employees.
01:55 This is very positive, not only for the digital economy ecosystem in Malaysia,
01:59 but also for the development of Malaysia as a hub for these companies in the Southeast Asia.
02:11 This is also one of our goals.
02:14 We see that our facilities, whether physically or through MDEC and Malaysia Digital,
02:24 can make Malaysia a main destination for investors to develop their operations in Malaysia and the Southeast Asia.
02:35 Thank you.
