Leeds welcome Luis Sinisterra back into the fold after conversations between the Colombian forward and manager Daniel Farke - but will he stay beyond the transfer deadline?
Transcript
00:00 I think the situation as it stands with Sinisterra, and we have to say as it stands because as
00:04 Farke himself said, things can change in the blink of an eye. But he's back training with
00:10 the team, he's had kind of clear-of-the-air talks with Farke. It was a different situation
00:16 to Nyonto in Farke's eyes, so it wasn't that Sinisterra came and said, "I'm not playing."
00:23 Farke has categorised it as Sinisterra was distracted by this contract situation and
00:28 the clause that he had and whatever argument there is going on in the background about
00:32 that clause. And Farke took the decision to, in his words, "show leadership" and say, "You're
00:38 not focused on your football, so there's no point you being with me and my team right
00:43 now." So he removed him from the situation because he only wants players who are 100%
00:47 focused on actually playing for Leeds right now. And whatever has happened over the past
00:53 week or whatever has been said, Sinisterra is now back with the team and available for
00:59 Farke to select. Farke says that Sinisterra is more clear-headed, there's more clarity
01:04 about the situation. Farke says it's sorted. Now, I still don't know if Sinisterra will
01:12 be a Leeds player come 2nd September because there's a long way to go. In terms of incomings,
01:19 it's not a long way to go, but in terms of keeping your players, it'll feel like an eternity
01:23 for clubs at this stage. And who knows if somebody's going to come in with a bid that
01:31 Leeds deem too good to be true or that Sinisterra suddenly says, "That's the one for me. I
01:37 want to go." We'll have to wait and see what happens on that front. But for it to be possible
01:43 that Sinisterra could remain at Leeds is massive.
