00:00 In terms of incomings, what is the close position now ahead of the remaining days in the summer transfer window?
00:06 Where do they have to look to bring some names in?
00:09 I think priority number one has got to be a striker, really, Charles, I really do.
00:13 I think, yet again, that was in evidence against West Brom on Friday night.
00:17 It felt like Giorgio Nerute's big chance to shine, obviously, leading the lads.
00:21 He's only just come back from injury, he should be stressed.
00:23 But that felt like his big chance to shine in the No. 9 role.
00:26 He played all right, in flashes he showed what he could do.
00:30 But I just don't know whether he's a No. 9 or whether he'll be able to hold down that role.
00:35 And whether he'll end up being more of a winger or a ten or just someone who might play a little bit all over.
00:40 I don't know, but goals win you games.
00:42 And we've said this so many times, but the two times Norwich went up under Daniel Farker,
00:47 Timu Pukki scored 30 in one season and 26 in the other.
00:50 And that's what Leeds are going to need.
00:51 So they're going to need something similar to that.
00:53 And I just think a striker's got to be brought in, really.
00:56 And Daniel was asked about it at his pre-match press conference and said,
00:59 is there enough time to bring all these people in?
01:01 Because he'd said himself, basically, the club needed strength in every single position apart from goalkeeper.
01:06 And obviously, that's an awful lot to do in not a very long time.
01:09 But he said it can be done.
01:11 But I think up front, it's got to be the first protocol.
01:13 Leeds are looking at a striker.
01:15 So we're waiting to see what happens on that.
01:16 No. 10 feels like another one as well.
01:18 You feel like when you're doing the Leeds team and a predicted line-up and stuff,
01:21 you're always sort of scratching around for number 10.
01:23 You know, there's people who can play there, but there's no one that like screams out at you and thinks,
01:27 oh, he's definitely the number 10, you know, but like maybe Pablo Hernandez was or whatever.
01:30 And, you know, players like that far from grow on trees.
01:32 But they feel like the two, you know, main things.
01:35 I'm sure there are areas that Leeds will look at. And then the other positions,
01:39 it's probably more about cover, I would say.
01:40 I mean, obviously, centre midfield's fine if Ampadu and Gray are fit.
01:43 But I mean, obviously, then you're relying on two people.
01:46 And obviously, Gray's very young. And now that Adams has gone,
01:48 I think another centre midfielder is definite. Centre back,
01:51 they're probably all right if everybody's fit, but it's like if and when.
01:54 And then the other one, obviously, is the full-back situation.
01:56 I mean, obviously, Leeds went in for Max Ahrens. We know that.
01:59 So that shows you that they are looking at that area.
02:01 And to me, that would make perfect sense because he's someone who can play at right-back,
02:04 but also at left-back. And that's probably, it feels like, what they need because they might be all right.
02:08 But, you know, you need cover. We don't need cover.
02:11 You need players that are going to come into the first 11.
02:13 So that's obviously an area they're looking at as well.
02:15 So there's an awful lot to do. I feel like they've got a good base, this Leeds.
02:18 There's a good foundation there for a good team,
02:20 but they won't make the most of it unless they get someone else up front or a number 10,
02:23 I don't think. I think they'll just, you know, they'll just swim around mid-table
02:26 if they don't get someone in to score the goals. And to me, I think that's absolutely crucial.
