00:42 Hi, I'm Amanda.
00:43 I work for Lincoln Conservation.
00:44 There's a team of conservators working here
00:46 to conserve and clean the decorative ceiling
00:51 at the museum.
00:52 It's got about 100 years worth of dirt buildup on there,
00:55 and we're using various methods to remove that and stabilize it
01:00 for the future.
01:03 We've got a duration of eight weeks,
01:06 so we're just gradually working our way around.
01:09 We're going to do all the cleaning first,
01:11 and then we'll be touching in all the areas of newly applied
01:15 plaster where there were breakages and losses.
01:19 We've got three here full time, and then I
01:21 come up once or twice a week just
01:24 to help out with anything that's needed
01:25 and resolve any issues that there are.
01:28 Well, as some of my colleagues have previously
01:30 undertaken a large program of architectural paint research
01:33 to understand what the original decorative schemes were
01:37 in various rooms, various of the significant spaces
01:40 within the museum.
