Man wanted in connection to the death of Sara Sharif

Pakistan police are seeking to arrest the father of 10-year-old Sara Sharif who was found dead in her home in Woking, Surrey on August 10. 41-year-old Urfan Sharif along with his partner, 29-year-old Beinash Batool, and his brother 28-year-old Faisal Malik are wanted for questioning in connection to the death of his daughter. 00:14 travelled to Islamabad on August 9th, along with his five children aged between 1 and
00:20 13 years old.
00:21 He said, "I want to book tickets for Pakistan and I need it as soon as possible." Then
00:28 after that I sent him a text, "One way or return?" He sent the text, "One way."
00:37 Meanwhile, the local community in Surrey are coming to terms with the death of the likeable
00:42 youngster. Jackie Chambers, headteacher of St Mary's C of E Primary School in Byfleet,
00:49 where Sara had been a pupil, said she would be dearly missed by pupils and teachers. Ms
00:55 Chambers said in a statement, "She was a bubbly, confident little girl who had the
00:59 most beautiful smile. She was full of ideas and was very passionate about the things she
01:04 believed in. Sara will be dearly missed and, as a school community, we are all deeply affected
01:11 by this tragedy."
01:12 Local council leader Tim Oliver said, "This is an incredibly sad situation and our thoughts
01:18 and deepest condolences are with everyone affected." He confirmed that the National
01:23 Child Safeguarding Panel had been notified and a multi-agency rapid review was underway.
01:29 He added, "We can confirm Sara Sharif was known to Surrey County Council, but we cannot
01:34 comment further while the Surrey Safeguarding Children Partnership's thorough review process
01:40 is ongoing. It has been reported that Pakistan police are looking to arrest Mr Sharif after
01:45 evidence came to light that he briefly returned to the family home in Jhelum, 84 miles just
01:51 outside of the capital prior to his disappearance.
