Trump, Giuliani to Report to Fulton Co. Jail. Bail Set at $200K

Former President Donald Trump announced that he would surrender to authorities in Georgia on Thursday to face charges accusing him of illegally attempting to overturn his 2020 election loss. Trump's bond has been set at $200,000, and the Fulton county sheriff's office stated there will be a "hard lockdown" of the area surrounding the main county jail when Trump surrenders. Trump faces 13 charges, including criminal conspiracy, filing false documents, and violating the Georgia Rico Act. The bond terms prohibit Trump from intimidating anyone known to be a co-defendant or witness in the case and from discussing it with any co-defendant except through their counsel. Fulton County district attorney Fani Willis has set a deadline for Trump and his 18 co-defendants to turn themselves in by noon on Friday and proposed that arraignments start the week of September 5th.
