UT Legend Dies at 81

00:00 Distinguished Texas Longhorns athletic figure Bill Little passed away in Austin on Friday at the age of 81.
00:06 Little was a member of the Longhorn Hall of Honor class of 1993 and a big face in Texas athletics for over 50 years.
00:15 Little took on numerous roles during his time on the 40 acres starting as Assistant Sports Information Director,
00:21 then moved on to Special Assistant to the Athletics Director.
00:25 After those titles he worked as Assistant AD for External Communications and then Head of Communications for former Texas coach Matt Brown.
00:35 Coach Brown spoke on Little saying, "We lost a great man with a huge heart."
00:39 Bill loved Texas. He poured his heart into the coaches and the staff and took such joy in working with the players.
00:46 He was an icon in this business, a Longhorn legend and a wonderful man who is beloved by so many.
00:53 Little worked 37 bowl games, served as a publicist for three football national championship teams,
01:00 and worked 1,700 baseball games along with 25 different College World Series in Omaha.
