00:04 >> Tyron, is this just coming out here, the whole team's all kind of hold up in
00:07 one spot, is this a good opportunity for
00:09 you all to just kind of get some of that bonding in for the regular season starts?
00:13 >> Yeah, yeah, for sure.
00:15 A lot of the vets, we didn't have the privilege of staying at the hotel this
00:20 year, so I feel we got the chance to go home.
00:22 So it's kind of cool to be around the guys all day.
00:25 >> How would you assess what you guys did on that end?
00:28 >> I thought we did all right.
00:29 Obviously, that's a good group of guys that we're practicing against.
00:32 It's a lot of different looks.
00:34 They got a lot of good skilled players, got a great quarterback, but
00:39 I thought we did well in the red zone.
00:40 Obviously, they missed the kick at the end.
00:44 Two men for us to kind of win that series.
00:47 I thought we did fairly well at third down, but obviously,
00:50 I can always do better.
00:51 >> Just to, can you just describe what you get out of this,
00:57 just going against somebody else where maybe you aren't as familiar with what
01:00 they do offensively, aren't as familiar with the other players, and
01:02 just getting that chance there?
01:03 >> Yeah, I think over time, you know what I mean?
01:05 You kind of get accustomed to what route you're seeing from the offense.
01:09 You kind of get used to guys in certain spots, in certain formations.
01:14 So like I said, it was a good change up to date.
01:17 But I'd probably say most importantly, just going against a good group of guys.
01:21 They got a lot of talent on the outside.
01:24 Quarterback is phenomenal.
01:25 And they got some good running backs too, so it was good work.
01:28 >> Derek said in memory that there's a lot of times that you guys were jumping
01:32 routes, calling out offensive plays.
01:34 I'm guessing here, it's a lot more honest, right?
01:37 >> Yeah, it's a lot more honest.
01:38 Obviously, hopefully tomorrow, we'll watch the tape and
01:42 hopefully tomorrow we'll start calling out some routes.
01:44 But yeah, I mean, you kind of get used to your guys.
01:47 So the weather's good here.
01:50 So people are great.
01:51 So it's good to come out here.
01:52 >> Do you feel like you get more out of practice when the weather's like this?
01:56 I mean, is there a legitimate difference in what you can accomplish when
02:00 the weather's like this?
02:01 >> Yeah, I mean, for the skilled guys, it's probably the same.
02:05 But you worry about some of the bigger guys, obviously,
02:09 especially when those guys start to lose 10, 12 pounds a day.
02:13 So that's not good.
02:16 But it's good to kind of come out here in some fair weather,
02:20 like I said, against some really good players.
02:22 >> Is the safety playing with Marshawn,
02:24 the guy who's gonna get put on an island and you can trust?
02:26 How does that affect you when you can kind of just play off of that?
02:30 Does that help you out?
02:31 >> Yeah, I mean, it helps out a lot.
02:32 I mean, it's a system-based defense.
02:35 So everybody has a responsibility, really, and a job to do.
02:39 But you're definitely more comfortable man in the middle or
02:44 kind of peeking opposite, trying to jump a route.
02:46 You know Marshawn's on the other side.
02:49 Thank you.
