00:00 Polar has just showcased the S1 Air and the S1 Pro to all of us.
00:09 And with that, they have also shown us four new electric motorcycles of theirs which has
00:17 taken all of us by an absolute shocker.
00:19 Welcome to Drivespark, my name is Vedant Johari and let's take a look at these motorcycles
00:23 up close.
00:29 So, first up on this motorcycle, we have Polar's Adventure motorcycle and as you can see, it
00:34 has a very futuristic look to it.
00:38 But not only that, it also comes with a properly designed adventure featured motorcycle with
00:43 an upright seating, higher front with a lower back of a motorcycle.
00:47 Along the motorcycle, you see a very neatly designed battery casing with a nice adventure
00:54 written on it.
00:55 And coming to that, we have crash guards in the front and at the rear for an adventure
00:59 motorcycle being a very handy feature.
01:01 And moving along the bike, you see a standard design throughout which captivates the eye,
01:06 which captures honestly any road goer as a motorcycle like this isn't seen at all.
01:10 Spanning across the bike, when you look at the front from a rear angle, you have a very
01:15 cross sort of shape which adds again that touch of aggressiveness and that touch of
01:20 a future looking electric motorcycle.
01:23 And not only that, even the indicators that you see with your rear brake light, it's something
01:29 that is not at all common in this day and age.
01:33 Also, another standout feature on this is that being an electric motorcycle, it's still
01:38 chain driven instead of belt driven and it comes with a very nice circular red design,
01:44 giving it a sort of that Tron sort of vibes.
01:47 So this is the Ola Adventure as a whole.
01:51 So now moving to the next motorcycle of Ola's, we have the Ola Roadster.
01:55 Now this is an absolute style icon, very neatly designed bike which has that sort of scrambler,
02:03 yet that sportiness look to it.
02:06 And here also, as you can see, Ola's kept their battery casing sort of similar throughout
02:10 all their motorcycles with the clean black finish with the name of the bike sort of neatly
02:16 placed alongside it.
02:18 Ola Roadster has a very nice headlight with a sleek finish on it and coming to it, it
02:24 also has a sloped sort of visor which is not really a visor as it's not coming on top.
02:29 The indicators are inbuilt into the body, unlike the motorcycles where you see it coming
02:34 out.
02:35 Also, all bikes of Ola's come with the red circular design and giving it, as I said earlier,
02:41 that Tron look, that futuristic electric look to motorcycles.
02:45 Looking at the suspension, we see it has upside down front forks on this, it has a single
02:51 rear monoshock.
02:52 So this suspension setup is typically seen on the sportier side of bikes as you can adjust
02:58 it to be more firm or more stiff depending on your riding style.
03:02 Again the Roadster comes with a chain instead of a belt drive, again it's not a common feature
03:06 in electric.
03:07 Now coming to the back, you have a very thick rear which sort of sleeks down towards the
03:13 centre.
03:14 The back is sort of integrated underneath the rear seat which when you look at a distance
03:18 has a very nice finish of it, just like a red sleek line across the motorcycle.
03:24 So here we have Ola's super sports bike, the Diamondhead.
03:28 As the name suggests, the front of the bike has that diamond finish, has that sleek cut
03:32 finish with a very nice strip of light that sort of spreads out from the left front of
03:38 the bike to the right front of the bike.
03:39 It has a very very different look to it, a very futuristic look, so a bike that is not
03:46 seen at all in today's day and age.
03:48 Now even when you look at the suspension system, it's a completely different suspension setup,
03:53 this is not seen on most motorcycles nowadays.
03:56 A very very unique feature which not only adds ride feel, it also adds a very nice look
04:02 to the bike.
04:03 Now spanning across, as you can see there's no display, there's nothing, well that's because
04:07 up in front, at the top of the Diamondhead, that part moves down to showcase the display
04:12 of the electric motorcycle.
04:14 As you see, this does have the sort of angled backwards handlebars which is seen on the
04:19 sportier segments of motorcycles and as you can see over here, it has an aerodynamic cover
04:25 for the wheel.
04:26 We have again, as we saw in the front, the light strip, we have the same light strip
04:31 at the back as your brake light.
04:32 This also comes with a single monoshock rear suspension.
04:36 Now something that's different about this bike and the rest of all our new electric
04:41 motorcycles is that this one comes belt driven and not chain driven.
04:45 Most electric bikes that we see nowadays are belt driven instead of chain driven.
04:48 That's a feature that has been seen on other motorcycles.
04:51 However, one thing about this bike is, in terms of safety, it might not be that ideal
04:57 as there's no real covering over here for if there's an impact in front or if you're
05:02 braking really hard as you will be able to slide on top and then God knows what can happen
05:07 after that.
05:08 So in terms of safety, this could have a little more upgrades but as of now, it's just a
05:13 plan of theirs so we hope to see what they have in the near future for us.
05:18 Now finally, we have the Polar Cruiser.
05:21 This electric motorcycle has that typical cruiser look with the front, the upright handle
05:26 and as you can see, it does have a more relaxed seating position than the others.
05:31 Now as you move towards the front of the motorcycle, you have a differently designed headlight
05:36 which is for more futuristic style, a more futuristic pattern.
05:42 It has a sort of curved front end to it so that adds a sort of feature that is new, that
05:49 is different.
05:50 As you move along the side of the bike, you have a very bulky but a very nicely designed
05:55 motorcycle.
05:56 It has the low slung seat with a sort of lower ground clearance than the others as it's a
06:02 cruiser.
06:03 So now as we span towards the rear of the bike, we can see the single rear horner shock
06:08 that's there.
06:09 The rear end of the bike has a very glossy look to it.
06:12 It has a single piece tail and it's a tail tidy finish.
06:16 Coming to the rear of the bike, we have that nice, as we saw on the other motorcycles,
06:21 a very nice, nicely designed brake light with a tail tidy finish.
06:26 So that adds a lot of feature, a lot of wow factor to this motorcycle.
06:31 Also it's chain driven and not belt driven.
06:34 So these Ola's new electric motorcycles, not yet launched but a plan of theirs in the near
06:39 future.
06:40 As you can see, a lot of these motorcycles do resemble some of the road going motorcycles
06:44 that are right now there.
06:46 So let us know in the comment section down below, what do you think these motorcycles
06:50 resemble and which of their road going counterparts and which are designs from the road going
06:55 counterparts have been put on to these new electric motorcycles.
06:59 This is Vedant Johari, signing out.
