A man couldn’t believe his luck after a vase he purchased for just £7.99 is actually worth a staggering amount of money.
The man appeared on the BBC’s Antiques Roadshow on Sunday night’s episode, where he was told his Ming vase was worth a lot more than the £7.99 he paid.
Broadcasting from Palm House Sefton Park in Liverpool, the antique expert told the man he has a “good eye”.
He said: “Ker-ching! I think if it goes through the tests then it would fetch somewhere before £5,000 and £10,000 pounds.”
Shocked, the man said: “Wow! I’m having a party!”
