00:19 What do you think about where team is lacking?
00:21 You had good, got a good momentum in the middle of the tournament but since then team continuously losing games.
00:28 So where do you see the lag?
00:29 Yeah, look I think we did get on a nice winning roll, started to play some good cricket.
00:36 We had everyone available for selection.
00:38 We then missed a game that we should have won to make it six in a row.
00:48 And then we had the injuries of both Washington and Natarajan.
00:54 And I know every team has their injuries but they hold pretty key roles for us in the side.
01:01 And that's where I think we lost a little bit of confidence and more so as a bowling unit.
01:06 And a bit of rhythm to our game and method to our defence of the 120 balls.
01:13 So we have struggled to really recapture that rhythm since.
01:18 I thought today was a lot better with the ball.
01:20 Yeah, look apart from obviously the back end, you know there was a few that got away.
01:26 But when you've got a world class hitter like Andre Russell that's at the crease, you know he's always going to be a threat.
01:32 We all know that and he's done it year in, year out.
01:34 So, you know I thought that generally any total around that 170 mark was a pretty good bowling performance.
01:42 Ken Williamson had a pretty rough time this season with the bat, the opening.
01:48 But you had other openers also, other options also like Rahul Tripathi and Markram who could have opened.
01:54 So reasons for continuing with Kane as an opener?
01:58 Well Rahul Tripathi has batted exceptionally well at three.
02:02 And Markram has been one of the leading batters in the tournament at four.
02:06 So, you know we felt that why change something that's working for something that's not working.
02:15 We have always backed and trusted Kane, you know with his quality.
02:21 There's no question of his world class quality.
02:24 So that's why we haven't made that move.
02:26 Because, you know as we've seen throughout the tournament, there's a couple of areas of our batting that has been functioning really well.
02:33 And that is, you know Abhishek Sharma at the top of the order, Tripathi at three, Markram four and Poran five.
