00:00 season for how we feeling.
00:01 Fantastic.
00:02 You are glowing.
00:03 Thank you.
00:05 Thank you. So wonderful to me.
00:06 My first question I wanted to throw
00:08 at you guys.
00:09 There is only one right answer.
00:12 So be warned.
00:13 And that question is
00:15 what team?
00:16 Wildcats.
00:18 Nailed it. I knew you could do it.
00:20 I know. I know.
00:21 The pressure's off now.
00:22 Like that.
00:23 We just did the Wildcat chant before
00:25 we came out for this.
00:26 So we were prepared.
00:27 We were prepared for that.
00:29 You'd been studying.
00:30 That's what I like to hear.
00:31 And I want to ask.
00:33 I know Ricky and Gina both
00:35 have been through so much throughout
00:37 this franchise with their families
00:39 and with their relationships.
00:40 And we all just want to see them
00:42 happy. I think the whole fandom wants
00:44 to see that.
00:44 But I want to ask you both.
00:46 What are you hoping?
00:48 What were you hoping to see this
00:49 season with your characters and
00:51 their development?
00:52 I guess more growth within Gina.
00:54 That's I think a hard demand because
00:56 she's already changed so much between
00:58 season one and season three.
00:59 But I think season three
01:02 was kind of the
01:03 still that transition phase
01:06 for her. And now she's able to like
01:08 fully thrive within
01:11 this this newer version
01:13 of herself. Like she can settle into
01:15 that and she can also settle into her
01:16 her place within
01:19 East High because she's never stayed
01:20 anywhere more than a year.
01:22 So I think it's really exciting to see
01:24 her kind of put her roots down
01:26 finally somewhere.
01:27 Yeah.
01:28 Yeah. I think I think.
01:29 Yeah. Like a healthy relationship,
01:31 I think, because looking
01:32 hoping for with Ricky and then
01:34 just stability.
01:35 You know, I think he's had a kind of a
01:37 rocky couple of years.
01:38 But graduating definitely does not
01:41 necessarily mean stability.
01:44 So, you know, it's it's
01:46 rocky as usual, but
01:48 at least there's hope.
01:49 That's what we like to hear.
01:52 We hold on to hope.
01:53 And I mean, you
01:56 kind of spoke a little bit about it.
01:57 I mean, we love the Wildcats and
01:59 they kind of find their people and
02:00 they're finding themselves.
02:02 So I wanted to ask, did that kind of
02:04 message really resonate with you?
02:05 And did you bring that into your
02:06 actual lives?
02:07 Oh, 100 percent.
02:09 I I think
02:11 I've always felt
02:14 kind of odd as I've grown up,
02:17 like a little weird,
02:20 unique.
02:21 No, but truly, I like it wasn't like
02:24 I was like, oh, I'm different.
02:25 It was like, oh, man, I'm different.
02:27 Dad, like, what's wrong with me?
02:29 And so truly for the first
02:30 time in my life, being on the show
02:33 surrounded by these actors and
02:35 my co-workers, they became
02:37 like my second family.
02:38 They really accepted
02:39 me for who I was.
02:42 And that was so
02:43 new for me.
02:45 And so not only this
02:46 cast, but I've really been able to
02:49 find kind of my tribe as
02:50 well with different friends in my
02:52 life who are
02:55 so close to me now.
02:56 And I haven't even known them for
02:57 that long. But I feel like as
02:59 I've grown, I've been able to really
03:01 find discernment in who I want
03:04 to choose as
03:05 my people, because
03:06 it's hard to do that no matter
03:09 what position you are in.
03:11 It's hard to find the right people
03:13 who support you.
03:14 So it's been a journey.
03:15 But I feel very blessed to have a
03:17 really strong
03:19 core around me.
03:20 Yeah, I think. Yeah, it's again,
03:23 just echo that.
03:24 It's like no matter
03:26 you know how high the mountain or
03:28 how low the valley, like the people
03:29 you're with are really what it's
03:31 all about. And so I think this
03:33 really taught that like, you know,
03:34 it's like, yes, our characters,
03:36 they go through the ups and downs
03:37 and they have each other, but also
03:38 in real life, you know, like
03:39 just just even with Sofia in season
03:42 four, being able to lean on her in
03:43 so many different ways of like
03:44 stuff I was going through.
03:46 And, you know, like I could not have
03:47 done that without you.
03:48 Like, I just don't know how we've
03:49 gotten through it. And so many other
03:51 people in the cast, it's like,
03:52 again, just the family that we
03:54 have, it makes you realize what's
03:56 really important, because, again,
03:57 you can have all the money
03:59 and success in the world.
04:00 But if you're all alone in your
04:01 castle, then what fun is that?
04:02 So I think, again, it just it was
04:04 a good lesson on people
04:06 and how that's
04:08 like the most important thing.
04:09 Yeah, absolutely.
04:10 And you can definitely feel the
04:11 friendship through the show,
04:13 especially like you can really see
04:15 how you all get together.
04:16 And just a real quick question
04:18 I wanted to ask, if you could
04:20 choose a senior quote for your
04:22 character, what would you what would
04:23 you say?
04:24 Oh, a senior quote.
04:26 I would say, be good.
04:28 She's been roasting me all day.
04:31 OK, any time I'm like, be good.
04:34 Like, I don't know why I say that,
04:35 but I just do it all day.
04:36 She's like, be good.
04:37 Roasting me.
04:39 But it's good.
04:40 It's good.
04:40 Be good.
04:41 I don't know about Ricky's
04:45 senior quote, but I think Josh's
04:48 senior quote is love anyway.
04:49 I think that's just a good sort of
04:52 I don't know. What's a senior quote
04:53 normally like?
04:54 It's like I was like, no way.
04:57 Whatever you want it to be.
04:59 OK, yeah.
05:00 Some people can be like Shakespeare.
05:02 But yeah, OK.
05:03 Well, I don't know any Shakespeare.
05:05 Oh, for real.
05:06 I would say this too shall pass.
05:08 Oh, that's good.
05:09 That's my life motto.
05:11 That's good.
05:12 I love love anyway.
05:13 I think that one's great as well.
05:14 So don't worry about it.
05:15 Well, thank you both.
05:16 Thank you both so much.
05:19 Congratulations on this show.
05:20 It was wonderful talking to you.
05:21 Be good, OK?
05:23 I will be good.
