Industry groups are sceptical of the idea of using superannuation to fund aged care. The peak body for aged care providers is calling on the government to re-consider aged care funding to allow people to contribute to their own future care. A group of 43 organisations has put forward a range of recommendations for funding aged care including changes to super and a Medicare-style levy.
