00:00 The former Negros Oriental Governor, Pride Hempi Tevez, has withdrawn money and sold some properties

00:07 before the freeze order of the government's terrorist designation was approved.

00:12 The order was also approved by his brother, Congressman Arnie Tevez,

00:15 who is likely to be put in court for being a "kidnapper."

00:24 According to the sanctions freeze order of the Anti-Money Laundering Council,

00:30 the brother of Congressman Arnolfo Tevez Jr. and former Governor Pride Henry Tevez

00:34 cannot withdraw money from their bank accounts.

00:36 They cannot sell or transfer their properties.

00:40 The same goes for 11 other accused of killing Governor Weld Egamo.

00:45 This is a close punishment for declaring themselves as terrorists by the Anti-Terrorism Council.

00:50 Pride Henry Tevez is now affected because he cannot make transactions in the bank for his agribusiness.

00:57 He was able to withdraw money before the freeze order was approved,

01:07 but his family is in survival mode, so his wife and children told him to save.

01:12 He was also told to sell some properties before the freeze order was approved.

01:17 I don't have that much assets anyway.

01:19 I sold some things that I don't need anymore just to sustain.

01:24 Because I also have to pay my lawyers, right?

01:26 Congressman Arnie Tevez did not have an interview today,

01:30 but his lawyer said that they can appeal to the Anti-Terrorism Council

01:34 for the terrorist designation or question it in court.

01:37 The mind of the executive is already closed.

01:40 Maybe we can resort to the judiciary.

01:43 He will also use this as a pretext for Tevez's asylum in other countries,

01:48 like East Timor, which was the first to refuse to go there.

01:51 This might furnish more proof of the necessity for political asylum because it is obvious that he is being held captive.

01:59 In the House of Representatives, within two weeks,

02:02 the Ethics Committee will submit the recommended action against Tevez, which will be voted on in the plenary.
