00:02 Tortoises are herbivores.

00:13 They eat a lot of grass and they eat a lot of flowers.

00:16 They do eat some fruits and veggies,

00:19 but mainly it's going to be your hay and your grasses

00:21 are gonna make up the most part of their diet.

00:26 The salads that are prepared for the tortoises

00:28 give them a well-balanced diet.

00:31 We get a variety of different mixed leafy greens.

00:42 And then we also will mix in alfalfa and hay.

00:48 In addition to a specialized little pellet

00:56 that's really good for them.

00:58 So we mix in a bunch of different things.

01:00 And then we'll use things like carrots

01:08 and some other veggies as a supplement

01:11 when we're doing any kind of enrichment or training.
