BTP arrest sexual offender on Elizabeth line train

A 50-year-old man has been sentenced to 20 months in prison after he sexually assaulted a woman on a train, following a British Transport Police investigation.

Body worn footage shows the moment BTP officers intercepted the train as it arrived at Reading station, identified the man, and arrested him.

Edgar Junior, 50, and of Barnsdale Road, Reading, pleaded guilty to sexual assault at Reading Crown Court on 12 January.
