00:09 Brezza.
00:10 Now obviously we have driven this car before and we are doing a full road test review right
00:14 now.
00:15 Before I start the video, I would like to tell you that the Brezza, before the new one
00:19 was launched, that is last year 2022, before that the Brezza sold almost around 5 lakh
00:24 units.
00:25 I mean, it just sold in big numbers.
00:28 However, the numbers have not dropped, they have remained the same and since last year,
00:35 when the new Brezza was launched, it sold, I mean from last year June to this year June,
00:41 it sold almost like around 1 lakh 57, more than 1 lakh 57 units and I think till now
00:46 it has crossed the 1 lakh 60 thousand unit mark.
00:50 So yeah, it's a great achievement for Maruti.
00:52 This car is just fantastic for the city if you want to take it for a cruise, for a long
01:03 duration and so let me quickly start off with the front end.
01:07 So what you get, now first of all, if you look at the new Brezza and you compare it
01:10 to the old Brezza, it is different because a lot of things have changed but the height,
01:15 size, wheelbase and everything remains the same.
01:19 Obviously this looks slightly taller because the additional of the roof rails but other
01:22 than that, the front end is like kind of a, it's got the chopped off finish and you get
01:29 LED headlamps, you get LED DRLs, basically the entire setup is an LED setup, front and
01:35 back and on the inside as well.
01:38 So on the inside, I think only the cabin lights you will get in the halogen, other than that,
01:42 the rest entire car has LED lightings.
01:45 So again, that's a good thing, fog lamps are printed in LED and you have a big grille,
01:49 obviously you have a front camera as well because that is the part of the 360-degree
01:53 camera feature that this car gets and moving on, you have these dual-tone alloy wheels
01:59 and you also get body cladding.
02:00 Now the body cladding makes the car look much more beefier, much more bulkier, gives the
02:05 car a good road presence.
02:07 So you get blacked out ORVMs, again they have cameras, part of the 360-degree camera feature.
02:13 And moving on, you get body-coloured door handles, now these door handles have got request
02:19 sensors, both for the driver as well as the passenger, so you can just access the car
02:23 without even taking out the key from your pocket.
02:26 Very good thing, very good feature and every time you are near the car, you don't have
02:30 to put your hand in the pocket and take out your key, you can just press that request
02:33 sensor and the car will unlock, actually all four doors will unlock at a single go.
02:38 Some cars have the feature where only one door opens and you have to press it again
02:41 to open all the three doors, but in this, either side you press, all the four doors
02:45 will open up or close, depending on if you're leaving the car or you're entering.
02:50 So now coming to the rear section, again it's got this sleek tail lamp design that actually
02:56 looks damn good and you have the Brezza badging, obviously the Vitara badging has gone long
03:02 back, so now this car is only known as the Maharajah Suzuki Brezza, earlier obviously
03:08 it was known as the Maharajah Suzuki Vitara Brezza, but now the name Vitara has gone away
03:12 and this is only called the Brezza.
03:14 So from the rear again, you have some amount of chrome, silver finishing, you get a spoiler,
03:20 a shark fin antenna and plus, this is the dual-tone version, so you get a white roof
03:25 with the body, you also get a sunroof, that's a small sunroof, as you can see over here,
03:30 I mean, it's not that big, but still, you have a sunroof in the car and this was the
03:34 first car from Maruti that got a sunroof, so yeah, I mean, this has to be special.
03:40 So other than that, as I was mentioning, you have the camera, you have adaptive guidelines
03:45 that'll help you park in tight spaces and I mean, you have everything that makes the
03:51 car look really cool from the outside.
03:54 Moving on to the inside, the very first thing you will enter the cabin, you will notice
04:03 that the cabin is kind of familiar, obviously, because the dashboard layout is very familiar
04:08 to the Frongs, to the Baleno and that's because this gets this 9-inch infotainment system,
04:13 has a lot of connectivity options, has Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, you can even connect
04:18 your phone and get a ton of information about the vehicle and you can control, it even has
04:23 in-built Alexa, so you can give it some features or commands, you can put on some features
04:30 from outside as well when you're just entering the car, so I mean, yeah, a lot of things
04:34 can be customisable, plus you have this heads-up display over here that looks really amazing,
04:38 if you don't want it, you can press the button over here for three seconds and this will
04:41 go down, this will shut, you can also adjust that, it has a lot of different themes and
04:47 finishes.
04:48 So other than that, again, the dashboard is finished in like a triple-tone finish, you
04:53 have black, you have this kind of a brownish finish that looks really good with the overall
04:58 interior design, you also get this brushed aluminium finish and just below the 9-inch
05:03 infotainment system, you have the AC vents and just below that, you have the automatic
05:07 climate control, so you have a small screen over there to give you the readouts for the
05:11 AC, for the airflow, for the temperature and moving on over here, so this is the instrument
05:17 cluster, again, it's a mix and match of analogue and digital, so you have analogue dials for
05:22 the speedometer, tachometer and the fuel gauge and the temperature gauge and in between,
05:26 you have approximately a 4-inch or 4.2-inch MID screen that again gives you a ton of information
05:32 about the car and you can also, so this car has a mild hybrid system, so that's basically
05:39 because of the auto start/stop that this car has, plus this also has an engine start/stop
05:45 button, so interior-wise, it is completely like a brand new car.
05:50 So basically, I have a friend who owns the old Brezza, basically, he owns the 2021 or
05:55 2022 Brezza, but the older one and when he sat inside this car, he was really amazed
06:00 and he was surprised as to how the seats have changed, the comfort, the steering, the wheel
06:06 has changed, the entire dashboard layout, you have ambient light now, you have a wireless
06:11 charging support, so everything is there, you have a sunroof, you have an armrest that
06:15 you can slide up, you have rear AC vents, rear seats are very comfortable, you have
06:20 two headrests that are adjustable and obviously, the front headrests are very big, but they
06:24 are also adjustable, so other than that, fit and finish quality is, I mean, it is plastic-y
06:30 all around, you have some soft-touch materials on the door panel, that is where you keep
06:35 your elbow over here, so other than that, it's a fantastic work that Maruti has done.
06:40 As far as the powertrain is concerned, so this is powered by a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated
06:52 petrol engine that comes out on a 103bhp and 137Nm of peak torque, now it comes mated to
06:58 either a five-speed manual or the one we are driving that is the six-speed AT, that's
07:02 the automatic, the AMT transmission and the transmission is slightly laggy, obviously
07:07 this car with the 1.5-litre engine feels slightly underpowered sometimes, for example, we are
07:13 doing 60 and I floor it, you can see that the engine is making a lot of noise, but I
07:18 mean, it's taking time to move, but obviously it reaches triple digit time, it takes some
07:25 odd time, but I mean, it cruises, especially the automatic one, if you're cruising at around
07:29 100, the rpm will be just touching 2000 and with the help of the mild-hybrid system, you'll
07:34 be getting amazing fuel economy, so within the city, we are kind of getting around between
07:39 14 to 15 and on the highway, I checked, we got somewhere around the 19.5 to 20 kilometre
07:45 per litre mark, which is, I mean, really nice, around the claimed figures that Maruti has
07:52 given us, so yeah, I mean, if you have a light foot, there are no modes over here, there
07:56 is no eco, normal or sport, but if you have a light foot and you're driving slowly and
08:00 you use cruise control that is present in this car, you will get an excellent mileage
08:05 figure, once again, the suspension setup is really awesome, it takes all the bumps, potholes,
08:10 feels really comfortable inside and coupled to the steering wheel, I mean, I'll just take
08:14 a U-turn and the steering wheel is really sharp, turning radius is also very nice, you
08:18 do not need a three-point turn, as you can see over here, the car quickly changes and
08:24 it does not even take a wide turn, I mean, yeah, it is, I mean, it is pretty decent,
08:29 the turning radius is actually very nice.
08:31 If you couple all of this, you have an amazing car, obviously, so if you're actually looking
08:36 out for a car that has a lot of features, in fact, that, this car actually looks really
08:41 nice, especially in the red and the black, that's the dual-tone finish, somehow with
08:46 this colour, I don't like the white roof, instead of this, if it would have a black
08:52 roof, it would have looked really amazing because of the overall black finishes that
08:58 it has outside the piano black finishes, but overall guys, if you have the budget, please
09:03 go check out the all-new Brezza, especially the top of the line ZXI Plus variants, I mean,
09:09 you will be really impressed that how far has Mahatti come up with all the settings
09:13 and displays and the features that they have to offer, you have a heads-up display, you
09:17 have a touchscreen, that's really amazing, you have full LED lighting that is absolutely
09:21 bright and amazing, plus you have this nice steering wheel, a flat-bottom steering wheel,
09:26 all the controls on the steering wheel are like to the point, like there is not much
09:31 of things going around over here, so it'll be easy for you to navigate either the infotainment
09:36 system or the instrument cluster, if you like so, so yeah guys, that was the all-new Brezza,
