00:09 National Water Park Day. It's today actually. Yeah, the day falls on July 28th every year
00:15 and individual water slides have been popular for decades, but most enthusiasts agree the
00:20 modern version of the water park was born in 1977. That's when one of SeaWorld's co-founders
00:26 opened Wet 'n Wild in Orlando, Florida. Good spot for a water park. Since then, massive
00:31 collections of water-based rides have taken off.
