00:00 -How are you feeling
00:04 going into this year? Better than last year? About the same?
00:08 -I feel confident with how my body's doing this year.
00:12 Last year I think I was on a good schedule
00:16 as far as training camp goes and management building.
00:20 I've got the same deal going for me. Body's feeling good.
00:24 It's felt good these couple days here.
00:28 -You've arrived at that in the program. How much does that help to not
00:32 have to do it every year? -The management
00:36 program I guess is just taking a little bit of reps off.
00:40 Maybe not applying as much.
00:44 I think with
00:48 joints and stuff like that I appreciate not being on them as much.
00:52 Just little things like that make a difference I think. -Could you feel
00:56 the difference by game 10 or 12 last year? Could you
01:00 feel how the management maybe during training camp hadn't paid off? -I think so.
01:04 I think there is a little bit to be said there with longevity
01:08 and how it's feeling later on in the season.
01:12 I think it's gonna help. -Is there refrigeration
01:16 trucks in here since you've been here, Ryan? -I think so.
01:20 I go through my refrigerator. -Do you use it? -Yeah.
01:24 We were allowed. -Have you ever asked
01:28 if you use it or there's a specific break when you use it?
01:32 -It's up to our position coach if he wants to give us a shot
01:37 in there or not. I do think it's beneficial. I think it can lower
01:41 your body temperature. I think there's some science behind it that definitely
01:45 is beneficial as far as getting you rejuvenated quickly
01:49 and cool down. I think it's beneficial.
01:53 -When you guys can go through training camp knowing who the starter's gonna be and say that guy
01:57 plays every game of the season, how much of a benefit is it to you guys on the line to just
02:01 know the quarterback, know how he's making his drops, get used to his consistency? How much
02:05 did that help you guys do your job? -I think it definitely helps
02:09 having that consistency, having that...
02:13 You know you kind of know how the operation is gonna work. It's definitely beneficial.
02:17 Yeah.
02:21 -What are your impressions of David Carr? -Impressions of David
02:25 Carr? He came in here and I think he's
02:29 gonna be a great leader. He's got great leadership skills.
02:33 Great command of the huddle. He's got kind of
02:37 a calm, cool, collected, confident
02:41 swagger to him. I'm excited.
02:45 I know we're all excited to ball it along here. -Is that like a
02:49 primary trait for a quarterback just to be really level?
02:53 Is that helpful for the offense?
02:57 -I don't think you can generalize and say everyone is. They're all kind of different.
03:01 Everyone's got their own personality.
03:05 They kind of all have their own feel.
03:09 I'm glad.
