00:02 - My press conference when I was hired,
00:11 I talked about, you know, take care of homegrown talent.
00:13 And that's always gonna be a part of the plan.
00:16 It's not like you walk in and hold things
00:18 against the other group of guys
00:20 because you didn't draft them.
00:22 The cool thing about this league is you,
00:23 you know, as an evaluator, if I was here or not,
00:25 like you're getting to know those guys through the combine
00:28 and watching my tape and going on school visits.
00:30 So you have a pretty good knowledge of the guys.
00:32 So it's not like you hold something back
00:33 from them specifically.
00:36 Does it help spending more time with them,
00:37 getting to know them as professionals?
00:39 Absolutely.
00:40 And it was cool.
00:41 I had a player come up to me after practice today.
00:43 He said, "Hey, you sent like a ton of energy
00:46 "through the locker room because you guys
00:48 "were taking care of the guys in there."
00:50 And it was really cool.
00:51 The relationship's good.
00:52 He's out showing that he can perform at a high level
00:57 and become the player that he wants to be and improve.
01:00 So that's all I can say.
01:02 - That's a good question.
01:03 You know, when we kind of kicked off training camp
01:05 with Fluce up here, we talked about like,
01:07 everyone's at a different level of their rehab
01:09 and getting to who they were prior to the injury.
01:14 So we have a bunch of metrics we're gonna use
01:16 to make sure everyone's up to speed
01:17 and exactly who they were.
01:19 And then we'll take it from there.
01:20 Acceleration, deceleration, miles per hour,
01:22 mileage, all that stuff.
