00:00 Good afternoon, it's Chris here with your top three stories today, Thursday July the 27th.
00:04 Number one, Tramlines Month. Drone footage shows the scale of cleanup facing the
00:09 Tramlines team on Sheffield's Hillsborough Park.
00:11 And number two, travellers set up a large camp in popular Parson Cross Park in Sheffield.
00:17 And number three, Pure Gym Crystal Peaks. First look inside the new gym at
00:23 Drake House Retail Park in Sheffield.
00:25 That's it for me, have a great day and we'll see you tomorrow.
00:27 Yeah, I think we're quite lucky in Sheffield. It's, you know, one of the greenest cities in Europe.
00:32 So we do have quite a lot of woodland which I prefer to run in.
00:35 So I often go into Lim Valley, which is out near the Peak District, or through Ecclesall Woods as well.
00:42 That's where I usually find myself doing sort of weekly runs.
00:45 Here in the city centre I suppose as well, this is great for all the rural stuff too.
00:49 If there's anywhere in the town centre you wanted to go from, where would you go?
00:53 So we actually run a weekly run from the shop, which is roughly 5k on Wednesdays, which starts at 5.45.
01:01 So good if you are coming out of the office.
01:04 We run up to Norfolk Park, we run on the canal quite a lot of the time,
01:07 or up into Crookes, sort of Western Park, that area.
01:11 So there's plenty of places you can get to from the city centre.
01:13 And it starts here from Church Street?
01:15 It does start here from the shop, yep, Church Street.
01:17 What time is that?
01:18 It's at 5.45 on Wednesdays.
01:21 Yeah, so I do run quite regularly. I'm training for half marathon at the moment.
01:27 So yeah, I'm building my distance up again, but at the moment I've been enjoying running around Grenou Woods.
01:34 It's a little bit of a drive away for me, but it's just such a peaceful place.
01:38 Lots of different routes, quite hilly at points, but yeah, lots of different sights to see.
01:44 And it makes a change from Crookes and Walkley, where I normally run.
01:48 Would you prefer running outside over a treadmill?
01:51 Oh, I can't run on a treadmill personally.
01:54 I think Richardfield, there's so many different places to see.
01:58 I love running outside, and the hills, yeah, I hate them, but the variation helps.
02:05 Yeah, I like getting to the top and having a view.
