00:48 But for him to sign a one-year deal was certainly not on my bingo card or something
00:53 I would ever think to say what happened for this team, you know what we talked to Mickey Loomis today
01:00 We talked to Dennis Allen ahead of Saints training camp, which starts on Wednesday
01:03 We're gonna have all the coverage there me Ross Jackson
01:06 We'll get some Kyle T Mosley in there and obviously Bob Rose
01:09 But look they said this it obviously came together during the summer that Jimmy Graham came in for a workout
01:16 on Monday and he said he looked outstanding and
01:20 Basically looked and assessed where he was kind of you know where he was in mentally
01:25 On what he wanted to do and in Dennis Allen
01:28 They were all on board of adding him to the Titan room say it gives them something that they just don't have right now
01:34 It's it's really something how this all came together, but Jimmy Graham is a saint
01:39 That's a huge move for this team before that
01:42 We had Trey Turner get signed to this team, which he was in for a workout as well
01:47 But veteran offensive lineman five-time Pro Bowler LSU guy st. Aug grad he gets added to the roster
01:54 So the Saints coming into this they only had one roster spot open
01:57 So they are gonna have to make some moves
01:59 And then there's also another move that happened to picking up one of the former Arizona Cardinal offensive line and Max Garcia. So

02:09 But talking to Dennis Allen Mickey Loomis today kind of some of the big takeaways because training camps right here, right?
02:15 So a lot of fun stuff to get into the first thing that I'd say is that Michael Thomas, right?
02:20 Michael Thomas is expected to be a full participant of training camp now if you've been following our reporting
02:25 This is not new new information
02:27 But it is good confirmed information because Michael Thomas told us that at the end of mini camp that you know
02:33 That was the plan that he's expected to be a full go from day one of training camp
02:38 But Dennis Allen saying that confirming that all the fields right and obviously he
02:43 Tweeted or he tweeted at his feelings. He also put it on Instagram
02:47 He's ready to light things up. And this is a guy who really needs this season a guy who
02:53 Look, he just hasn't been in available right and your best quality is availability and for him
02:58 He's got to get back to where he needs to go
03:02 This was a guy that was on a Hall of Fame type of trajectory before the injuries happen
03:06 But now he comes back in this situation
03:08 Super excited to work with Derek Carr the Saints offense. Everyone is it's pretty loaded right for all intents and purposes
03:15 But that's the first big thing is that Michael Thomas full go for training camp now speaking of the Trey Turner edition
03:21 The first thing they need to know this is not any type of precursor
03:24 According to Dennis Allen who said that you know
03:27 He expects everybody to be in for training camp in some participating in practices
03:32 And just kind of overall activities in some form or fashion, right?
03:36 so that's encouraging because I don't remember the last time the Saints hadn't started with somebody that was totally on pup or
03:42 You know some of their main guys at least right and so there's still things to hash out
03:46 But players were in for taking physicals today. No updates there
03:50 but for Trey Turner his addition is a veteran guy on the offensive line wasn't a precursor because of Andres Pete or
03:57 Or Cesar Ruiz who is coming off of that Les Frank injury, but you know, look another sneaky addition
04:04 Offensive lineman with experience and that's kind of the the theme
04:07 I would say is something Mickey Loomis really talked about is that you want they want to find guys that have NFL experience
04:13 To add at this stage of the game, right?
04:15 And that's the main thing that I took away when it comes to adding potential talent to the roster now
04:21 They could add other workouts. It's not gonna be uncommon to see more workouts
04:24 But for the Saints this is a space that they're gonna be in but for sure
04:28 Jimmy Graham's on the roster Trey Turner's on the roster Michael Thomas good to go
04:32 Another thing that we got big takeaway Alvin Kamara. He
04:36 Read obviously all the legal proceedings had played out. So now the NFL has to work on the discipline part now
04:43 Mickey Loomis Dennis Allen no updates on that. They're kind of in limbo
04:47 We've got to wait for the league to do everything now
04:49 One of the things Mickey Loomis did say is, you know, they try to give him a good advance notice
04:52 It's not like you'll walk into a Friday and then you find out Friday that the guys
04:57 Suspended for Sunday and a game that you're about to play they try to give a little bit more notice
05:00 But there is no influence they can have with the league obviously with him settling those types both the civil and the legal case
05:07 You know, it's just one of those that you got to wait until it plays out until it happens
05:12 The Saints do expect him to get suspended, but at the same time we'll find out what that actually means and how many games but again
05:19 Normal if everything would have went out and played out probably a max of six games or minimum of six games
05:25 Maybe I think it's gonna come in less. I think it might be that three to four range
05:29 Maybe it's less, you know, I think there's a scenario where he may not get really any suspension, right?
05:35 But few and far between Saints are pretty good in the running back spot other things to touch on
05:40 Trevor pinning updates Peyton Turner updates Trevor pinning
05:44 Working his butt off to make sure he's out on the field
05:47 Still have a good clear vision for him as far as it goes Peyton Turner
05:51 Dennis Allen kind of talking a little bit saying look we're more worried about his his
05:56 Development at this point not necessarily in result, which I thought was pretty interesting
06:00 One of the things he's talked about this whole time is just the fact that you know pointing out guys like Marcus Davenport
06:05 He was the most effective for this team when he was there from day one. Peyton Turner is certainly on that trajectory
06:12 He's been in the program since day one now. It's on him to kind of develop and come in here
06:17 You've got competition at the position Carl Granderson looks to be the favorite right now
06:21 Tano passing on is a guy that can have more reps there. You got Isaiah Foskey now
06:26 I mean this is this is a pretty interesting position battle that the Saints are gonna have and you know
06:31 That's another thing that Dennis Allen talked heavily about is the fact that you're gonna have competition at a lot of spots
06:37 Something like a latte Taylor versus Paulson adebo for that CB to spot and look it's exciting
06:42 There's a special teams battle that's gonna happen
06:44 There are just so many different things that are gonna happen for this team
06:48 Over the next several weeks and look I'm excited is everything just to be able to cover training camp again here
06:54 You know going into I don't know how many years this has been now, but it's it's just a fun atmosphere
06:59 Derek Carr seeing what he's been able to do and look it's not just Derek Carr. It's guys behind him like James Winston
07:05 You know, I'm presumably healthy. He looks good. You know, he looked good in minicamp OTAs and stuff
07:10 I make you see more out of him more out of Jamal Williams getting all these guys back on the field
07:16 It's gonna go a long way the Saints do have some really big
07:20 Players coming to the table that they just have not had over the past few years this roster top to bottom
07:25 They do have some aging guys. They do have some older guys, but on paper
07:29 This does look like a very promising roster and speaking of some of the other players another update on guys like Marcus
07:35 May he does have a court hearing tomorrow
07:37 Did his own saying though?
07:38 It should he should be at practice this stems from his 2021 DUI arrest that happened while he was with the Jets. So
07:46 You know, we'll see how those all play out because that is another player that could potentially get suspended
07:50 But you know bottom line is training campus here right around the corner
