00:00 Joe, how's pre-season going? How are you finding it so far?
00:02 I've enjoyed it with the new manager coming in. He's got good ideas. It's been hard.
00:08 We've been working very hard to get fit, which we're in a good place physically at the minute.
00:13 Pre-season's always hard, isn't it? But I'm happy to be back here with the squad and I'm looking forward to the new season.
00:19 Do you enjoy it being hard work? Some players like pre-season, some players absolutely hate it. What sort of player are you?
00:24 I like it more than I used to. It's not nice, but you have to do it. You've got to be ready for when the season starts.
00:32 It's just one of them you have to do as a footballer.
00:34 What's his message been for you, Daniel Farker? How's he lining you up for this new campaign?
00:39 I haven't really had much of an individual chat, to be fair. Hopefully I've just got to try and prove to him that I can get into the team.
00:48 If he's just playing me, I've got to do what I can to stay in the team and if not, I've got to do all I can to get into the team.
00:55 For me, it's all about just giving 100 per cent and hoping to play.
00:58 Does he keep himself to himself a little bit from that?
01:02 I just think he hasn't been here long. It's been intense trying to learn the new system and his tactics.
01:13 A lot of the time it's been on that, really.
