00:01:11 This is a big mistake.
00:01:13 You got it all confused.
00:01:16 Talk to Mercy.
00:01:18 Talk to her again, man.
00:01:19 You ain't the law.
00:01:25 You ain't my law, bitch.
00:01:27 Anything you say now, you better pray for what you've done.
00:01:31 You better pray for salvation.
00:01:36 Aaron?
00:01:43 Aaron?
00:01:44 What are you doing here?
00:01:47 Aaron?
00:01:50 Tell me you didn't call the cops.
00:01:52 Aaron, tell me you didn't call the cops!
00:01:54 [GUNSHOT]
00:01:55 Huh?
00:01:56 And who's this mother?
00:01:57 St. Peter?
00:01:58 Huh?
00:01:59 Is he supposed to stop this?
00:02:00 Relax, Ty.
00:02:01 This is Dare.
00:02:03 He's just insurance.
00:02:05 OK.
00:02:06 OK.
00:02:07 I don't even know why the both of you are here.
00:02:09 As a matter of fact, you both just need to be gone.
00:02:11 You just need to go.
00:02:14 Let me handle this.
00:02:16 Let's take him to the police.
00:02:19 Oh.
00:02:20 The police, huh?
00:02:22 Take him to the police?
00:02:23 You're right.
00:02:24 You're right, Aaron.
00:02:25 You're right.
00:02:26 Why?
00:02:27 Huh?
00:02:28 So we can let him go in two hours because they can't prove Jack?
00:02:29 Huh?
00:02:30 Never!
00:02:31 Never!
00:02:32 OK?
00:02:33 Aaron.
00:02:34 Aaron.
00:02:35 Street justice.
00:02:37 Huh?
00:02:38 Street justice, Aaron.
00:02:40 You're going to school.
00:02:42 You both know this got to be done.
00:02:44 You do not want a murder on your head.
00:02:47 Just listen to your man here.
00:02:49 What?
00:02:50 You don't talk!
00:02:51 Ty!
00:02:52 Listen to me.
00:02:53 Let me make a call.
00:02:56 A call?
00:02:57 Aaron.
00:02:59 Aaron, you make that call, all right?
00:03:01 You make that call.
00:03:02 But if I hear one siren, I'm talking about one, he's gone!
00:03:06 No cops, my word.
00:03:08 [Heavy breathing]
00:03:10 [Heavy breathing]
00:03:12 [Heavy breathing]
00:03:14 [Door opens]
00:03:16 Yo, how's she?
00:03:18 She won't go to the hospital.
00:03:19 I keep telling her she has to go, but she won't listen.
00:03:21 She still in the room?
00:03:22 [Phone rings]
00:03:26 Is your cell off?
00:03:29 This guy, Aaron Lanter, has been trying to get a hold of you.
00:03:33 Hello?
00:03:35 What?
00:03:37 Hey, Melanie, can you get Jennifer right away, please?
00:03:41 No.
00:03:43 Uh-uh.
00:03:45 Don't do anything.
00:03:48 [Knock on door]
00:03:56 [Door opens]
00:03:58 [Sobbing]
00:04:01 [Sobbing]
00:04:16 [Door opens]
00:04:18 [Door closes]
00:04:20 [Door opens]
00:04:22 [Door closes]
00:04:32 Where's he at?
00:04:33 Basement.
00:04:34 Let's go.
00:04:35 Cece, take Pastor Jennifer to Mercy.
00:04:38 I thought the big guy was the pastor.
00:04:45 We're both pastors.
00:04:48 Oh, so it's like one of those two-for-one deals.
00:04:50 You know that at Walmart at the counter you can get those two pretzels with the soda?
00:04:53 Listen, where's Mercy?
00:04:56 [Laughing]
00:05:08 That's really good, Aaron.
00:05:10 So let me get this right.
00:05:12 You're just going to keep bringing them in bigger and bigger and bigger until I let them go, huh?
00:05:18 You think because this fool is white, I'm gonna--
00:05:20 This is Pastor Jeff Warner, the one I was telling you about.
00:05:24 I'm sorry.
00:05:28 I didn't mean to call you a fool.
00:05:31 I just thought you were something else.
00:05:35 Ty, is it?
00:05:37 Yeah.
00:05:39 You better thank God I'm a Christian or I'd kill you myself.
00:05:43 I didn't do it.
00:05:45 Let's take this rapist to jail.
00:05:48 He'll be convicted.
00:05:50 They're a convicted rapist.
00:05:53 They know how to deal with them.
00:05:55 The Lord says, "Let the vengeance be mine."
00:05:59 Is that what the Lord says?
00:06:08 Is that really what the Lord says?
00:06:11 Well, excuse me, pastor.
00:06:13 I thought we were in my basement.
00:06:16 But apparently we're in church.
00:06:19 So let's have church, huh?
00:06:21 [Clapping]
00:06:23 Amen, huh?
00:06:24 Hallelujah, huh?
00:06:25 Thank you, Jesus.
00:06:27 Can I get a witness, huh?
00:06:28 Can I get a witness, huh?
00:06:29 [Laughing]
00:06:31 I bet you just want to start singing that, don't you?
00:06:33 [Singing]
00:06:35 You want to start singing that, don't you, huh?
00:06:36 You sound like something my grandmother sent here.
00:06:39 But I got something for you, though.
00:06:43 Hmm?
00:06:45 Mercy, my name is Jennifer.
00:06:59 May I talk to you?
00:07:01 Aaron told me what happened.
00:07:04 And we need to get you to the hospital, sweetie.
00:07:07 No, I don't want to leave.
00:07:10 Where's my brother?
00:07:12 He's downstairs.
00:07:13 He's going to shoot that gutless pig for what he done.
00:07:16 Cece, can I have a minute alone with Mercy, please?
00:07:20 My husband is with him now.
00:07:27 He's talking with Ty.
00:07:29 How come?
00:07:30 Is he a cop?
00:07:32 No, he's a pastor.
00:07:34 Aaron called him.
00:07:36 He felt that he could help get this man to the police.
00:07:40 Ty doesn't listen to too many people.
00:07:43 He's really mad right now.
00:07:46 He'll listen to Jeff.
00:07:48 He raped my sister!
00:07:54 This is my redemption, in my hands!
00:07:58 Not from some white judge in a black dress!
00:08:02 Ty, you will ruin your life, listen to me, and Mercy's life.
00:08:09 Don't do this.
00:08:12 Why should I listen to you?
00:08:14 Because you're at crossroads right now.
00:08:16 You have a choice and a chance for a different life.
00:08:20 Don't make the same mistake he made.
00:08:24 Don't let Satan win.
00:08:27 And with God, you can have ultimate redemption.
00:08:32 Take the piece of crap!
00:08:52 [♪♪♪]
00:08:56 [♪♪♪]
00:09:24 [♪♪♪]
00:09:27 You going to the hospital?
00:09:33 She's letting me take her.
00:09:35 Well, Ty's coming up. Aaron's going to take that pig to the police.
00:09:51 Uh-huh. All right.
00:09:54 Bye.
00:09:56 That was Aaron.
00:10:02 He said they took him to jail.
00:10:05 But he said, "Pastor, he sure fell down an awful lot."
00:10:10 [CHUCKLES]
00:10:12 Good.
00:10:16 What's wrong?
00:10:19 I don't know, Mercy.
00:10:22 How long is she going to be here for?
00:10:24 I don't know. Jennifer's with her right now.
00:10:28 As soon as they let Jennifer know something, she'll let us know.
00:10:32 All right.
00:10:34 Man, I hate hospitals.
00:10:38 I--
00:10:40 Always full of sick and dying people.
00:10:44 It's always cold. It's--
00:10:47 I kind of like them.
00:10:50 You're nuts.
00:10:52 I know.
00:10:54 You know, but when I was a kid, I spent a few months in the hospital.
00:10:59 And they gave me ice cream every day.
00:11:02 I used to pop willies in the wheelchair,
00:11:05 and I'd go to different rooms and grab different charts
00:11:08 and switch the charts around and have a good time.
00:11:11 And, you know, they really seemed to love me, and they treated me really good.
00:11:16 When I think about it, it was the best time I ever had as a kid.
00:11:21 How's that?
00:11:24 This is Jeff Warner?
00:11:38 That's right. And I'm his grandmother, Vera.
00:11:42 Vera King.
00:11:44 Okay. Why don't you both come with me?
00:11:48 Where are his parents?
00:12:01 No father. His mom's at home.
00:12:05 She's not completely right in the head.
00:12:09 Is he going to be okay?
00:12:13 He's severely malnourished.
00:12:15 And a child this young?
00:12:19 This is an extreme condition.
00:12:22 He's not going to recover overnight, and with one good meal in him?
00:12:27 This can affect his health for years to come.
00:12:32 It can cause disease, impact his learning ability. It can be fatal.
00:12:37 I need to do more.
00:12:39 Yeah, well, someone does.
00:12:42 I'll make an excuse for this.
00:12:45 I'll be back in 30 minutes, honey.
00:13:03 Just going to buy some groceries, okay?
00:13:06 Go on in now.
00:13:09 Go on. You'll be fine.
00:13:13 [engine starts]
00:13:16 He's staring again.
00:13:41 Like, ignore him.
00:13:43 Stop staring, idiot.
00:13:45 Go outside and play or something.
00:13:47 I'm waiting for Grandma to get back.
00:13:50 What?
00:13:55 I told you to go out and play.
00:13:58 You haven't been back five minutes, and I gotta--
00:14:01 [screams]
00:14:04 [screams]
00:14:08 [sighs]
00:14:11 Stupid brat.
00:14:18 Come on, let's get out of here. Can we go to your place?
00:14:22 No, but how about my car?
00:14:25 Fine. Anywhere but here.
00:14:36 Jeff, you in there?
00:14:39 Come on out of here. Grandma's looking for you.
00:14:55 I hate it here.
00:14:58 I want to go back to the hospital.
00:15:04 Well, you can't.
00:15:07 'Cause you're all better now.
00:15:10 Why are you such a little freak?
00:15:31 Jeff! Get out of here!
00:15:34 Boyfriend's here.
00:15:37 [crash]
00:16:05 What are you doing?
00:16:08 Check it out. I'm starving.
00:16:13 What are you doing?
00:16:16 It's good. This is someone's food.
00:16:19 You can't start eating it like it's dinner.
00:16:21 Catch.
00:16:23 Dang, look at how big these are.
00:16:27 I think someone's coming.
00:16:30 Hey! What are you doing in there?
00:16:33 Pay yourself, loser!
00:16:36 Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa!
00:16:59 Why are you two in such a hurry?
00:17:01 Let's go.
00:17:03 Didn't they tell you?
00:17:04 White trash isn't allowed here.
00:17:06 You're gonna have to pay admission.
00:17:08 We don't have any money.
00:17:11 Fine.
00:17:13 White trash and wussies.
00:17:22 Must be my day.
00:17:25 Give 'em back.
00:17:27 Or what? You gonna stutter some more?
00:17:30 Gonna go cry to mommy?
00:17:33 Well, call the cops.
00:17:37 [laughs]
00:17:41 [sirens]
00:17:45 [sirens]
00:18:12 Holy crap, what happened to you?
00:18:15 Doesn't anyone answer the phone around here anymore?
00:18:21 It got shut off, Jim.
00:18:24 Couple kids beat him up after school.
00:18:31 Then he got arrested.
00:18:34 Stealing and threw a rock through a window.
00:18:37 Aw, you make us all so proud.
00:18:39 Shut up, slut.
00:18:40 What?
00:18:41 Can't he just have a peace treaty for five minutes?
00:18:43 You know what your problem is?
00:18:44 Is he's a wuss who can't fight.
00:18:46 You better get used to those bruises.
00:18:47 They might as well be permanent.
00:18:49 God, you let her actually learn to fight.
00:18:52 So how's your team been doing?
00:19:08 Been a couple weeks since I got to a game.
00:19:11 I haven't been playing.
00:19:14 Why not?
00:19:15 Somebody stole his glove.
00:19:18 Alright.
00:19:28 First thing tomorrow I'm gonna come and get you,
00:19:30 and we're gonna go get you a new one.
00:19:32 You need to stay in sports, Jeff.
00:19:35 You're such a gifted athlete.
00:19:37 You may not realize it now, but...
00:19:40 besides, you stay in sports,
00:19:44 you stay out of trouble, right?
00:19:47 Yeah.
00:19:49 So how'd that work out for you?
00:20:03 Probably not as well as Jim would have liked.
00:20:06 But I tried.
00:20:09 There's Jennifer.
00:20:13 Why is she refusing the rape kit exam?
00:20:26 Kit? I don't know why she's refusing any kit.
00:20:29 She's scared.
00:20:32 There's obviously more to this.
00:20:36 Look, this exam needs to be done within 48 hours
00:20:39 of a suspected assault to ensure usable evidence.
00:20:43 I can get the on-call psych up here to talk with her,
00:20:45 but it might be a while.
00:20:47 If one of you can convince her, do that.
00:20:51 The clock's ticking.
00:20:53 Psych! My sister ain't talking to no psych!
00:20:57 I'll talk to her, okay?
00:20:59 Alright.
00:21:04 Come on. Let's get some coffee.
00:21:07 So, I mean, how'd you know she was the right one for you?
00:21:19 I just knew.
00:21:21 I knew if I didn't have her,
00:21:23 I'd regret it the rest of my life.
00:21:27 [distant chatter]
00:21:29 Why don't you guys pick on someone your own size?
00:21:40 He's ten times bigger than us.
00:21:43 And fifty times stupider.
00:21:45 Hey! Craig's one of my best friends.
00:21:47 You insult him, you insult me. Got it?
00:21:51 Thanks, Jeff.
00:21:54 Hey, you wanna go see a North Star game on tomorrow?
00:21:59 What time?
00:22:01 I'm on a clock.
00:22:09 Oh, we have school then.
00:22:11 Oh, yeah.
00:22:13 There she is.
00:22:16 There she is.
00:22:18 Who's she?
00:22:22 Oh, that's Jennifer Capooch.
00:22:25 Jeff likes her.
00:22:27 Why don't you just ask her out?
00:22:30 I don't wanna ruin it.
00:22:32 Ruin what?
00:22:34 I'm gonna marry her someday.
00:22:39 So I don't wanna blow it.
00:22:41 Until I'm sure she'll say yes.
00:22:44 You're such a dork.
00:22:49 Just gonna marry her.
00:22:52 Hatter up!
00:22:59 Go, go! Go, Drew! Go, Drew! Go, go, go!
00:23:18 Go, go, go!
00:23:20 Hold, hold, hold, hold!
00:23:22 Ice!
00:23:45 Dude, he is just so, so...
00:23:49 Hey, check out the peak, geek.
00:23:52 You should go ask her out.
00:24:05 Ask her out.
00:24:07 Come on, man.
00:24:09 You got it.
00:24:11 Thanks.
00:24:13 Hi, Jennifer.
00:24:19 Jeff. Jeff Warner.
00:24:24 Did you catch the football game last week?
00:24:30 I scored a few.
00:24:33 I don't go to the games.
00:24:35 Oh, okay.
00:24:37 Well, uh, what are you into?
00:24:41 Nothing that you're selling.
00:24:44 Yeah, she's thinking about it.
00:24:53 We're probably gonna hook up later.
00:24:56 Sure, man.
00:24:58 If by later, you mean never.
00:25:02 (gunshot)
00:25:04 Hey!
00:25:16 Go learn your ABCs, short bus.
00:25:21 Fight! Fight! Fight!
00:25:25 Fight! Fight! Fight!
00:25:30 Fight!
00:25:32 Principal's office now, every one of you!
00:25:57 Come on, come on, come on.
00:26:00 That's not fair. Jeff was just trying to...
00:26:02 They took my helmet, and they were getting it back.
00:26:06 Go, I don't need to fight.
00:26:09 What happened? Did they expel you?
00:26:11 I've been expelled so many times, I can't even remember.
00:26:15 But that time?
00:26:17 (laughs) Oof, dude.
00:26:20 So how'd you finally win over?
00:26:24 I mean, 'cause it seems like you're some kind of big bruiser with no game.
00:26:28 (laughs)
00:26:30 You know, I was always hustling.
00:26:33 Sometimes it worked, and sometimes it didn't.
00:26:37 Here you go. Thank you. You're welcome.
00:26:44 Name? Jeff Warner.
00:26:46 I.D.?
00:26:48 (music)
00:26:54 You're not Jeff Warner. He's not?
00:26:57 Sure I am.
00:26:59 I know Jeff Warner, and you're definitely not him.
00:27:03 Could I get Jeff's I.D. -- I mean, my I.D. back?
00:27:09 Okay then, have a nice day.
00:27:15 (music)
00:27:19 How'd it go?
00:27:21 I told you it wouldn't work. I'm 5'10" with blonde hair and blue eyes.
00:27:26 Should I have meaned you, at least I have brown hair.
00:27:29 Yeah, I thought of that, but you'd be more dumb than me.
00:27:32 You're the only one I know smart enough to pass that thing.
00:27:35 Oh, the woman there? She even knew who you were.
00:27:39 Hey, you touch my food, any of it, and I will knock your head off.
00:27:44 It's probably Ms. Wurtz. I was hoping she wouldn't be there.
00:27:50 Man, I was sure this would work. Worth a try.
00:27:54 I've never been more embarrassed in my entire life.
00:27:58 Womp womp. Tell someone who cares.
00:28:00 I.D.?
00:28:02 I don't have it, but Ms. Wurtz or whoever, she kept it.
00:28:06 Dang it.
00:28:09 Oh!
00:28:11 Jeff!
00:28:14 Oh, gross.
00:28:16 Oh!
00:28:17 I told you not to touch my food, and you go and touch it.
00:28:20 What was I supposed to do?
00:28:22 Not punch him in the face?
00:28:24 I don't think about it, man.
00:28:32 I just react, you know?
00:28:36 I mean, friends don't touch their friends' hamburgers when they're told not to.
00:28:42 You're seriously screwed up in the head. You know that, right?
00:28:47 The only thing that I know is I get what I want, and nobody screws with me.
00:28:56 Jeff, Grady's our friend. He's not some random loudmouth in a bar spouting off.
00:29:07 In Revelations 10.
00:29:09 No, no, not Revelations 10. Dragons, Satan, fire. I'm going to hell. I know.
00:29:18 And I took the book from the angel, and I ate it.
00:29:22 And the words were in my mouth, sweeter than honey.
00:29:26 But as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.
00:29:30 What?
00:29:33 The book is the Bible.
00:29:39 John eats it, and the words are sweeter than honey, right?
00:29:45 Then why does his belly go bitter then?
00:29:51 Because John knows God's about to take the earth back.
00:29:57 And be honored as he deserves.
00:30:01 But that also means punishment to the unbelievers.
00:30:07 So the sweet turns bitter.
00:30:13 Kind of like an aftertaste.
00:30:18 So what does that have to do with me punching Grady's teeth out?
00:30:23 When you hit people, it tastes sweet to you.
00:30:28 But the damage you leave behind is... it's all bitter, Jeff.
00:30:36 [music]
00:31:03 A nice tea, please.
00:31:05 I'll take a beer.
00:31:07 See that guy over there?
00:31:12 Yeah.
00:31:17 That's Jeff Warner. I think he works here. He's bad news. Do not talk to him.
00:31:25 Okay.
00:31:30 [laughter]
00:31:33 Hey, Jeff. How goes it?
00:31:50 Good. How's your date going?
00:31:52 Date?
00:31:53 Yeah, I saw you in there talking to Jennifer Capooch.
00:31:56 I'm not on a date with her.
00:31:58 Well, what happened? Did she shoot you down?
00:32:01 She's my cousin.
00:32:03 Hi.
00:32:11 Hello.
00:32:13 Can I get you a drink?
00:32:14 I'm good, thanks.
00:32:16 I'm Jeff. Jeff Warner. We went to high school together.
00:32:19 Jennifer Capooch.
00:32:21 I know who you are.
00:32:23 So this doesn't really seem like your crowd.
00:32:26 It's not. My cousin brought me in. He was convinced I'd love it.
00:32:31 And?
00:32:32 I don't love it.
00:32:34 What do you say we get out of here, go back to my place and have a couple drinks?
00:32:38 I don't drink.
00:32:40 How about a walk around the lake?
00:32:54 Let's go.
00:32:56 Okay.
00:32:58 I make do.
00:33:06 You make do, but you won't say what it is you do to make do.
00:33:11 Let's just say I'm a bouncer.
00:33:15 But are you really a bouncer?
00:33:19 In a way, yeah. I troubleshoot.
00:33:24 Actually, my life's a little out of control right now.
00:33:28 Something tells me your life has always been out of control.
00:33:34 Are you sure you don't want to come back to my place?
00:33:37 Yes, Jeff. I'm sure.
00:33:40 How about you tell me something about yourself?
00:33:44 Well, what do you want to know?
00:33:46 How'd you get this scar on your hand?
00:33:49 How old were you when you got this scar?
00:33:52 I was about 12, and a friend of mine and I got into a neighborhood we shouldn't have been in.
00:34:03 Some older kids jumped us and tried to take our bikes.
00:34:07 You got beat up?
00:34:08 I was a lot smaller back then.
00:34:11 That's not really when I got the scar. It's just kind of the start of the story.
00:34:15 How so?
00:34:18 I was a little bit of a learning point, and I realized I had to learn how to fight.
00:34:22 Let it go!
00:34:24 Let's first crack at the wuss!
00:34:27 You're going to fight them both, or I'm going to crack your head open.
00:34:32 Hit him.
00:34:44 Go, Debbie! Go, Debbie!
00:34:48 Like I said, out of control.
00:35:00 What'd your parents say when they found out?
00:35:03 My mom, God love her, she just sat in her chair staring at the wall smoking cigarettes.
00:35:08 Father, there is no father.
00:35:11 He took off a little after I was born. I've never even met the guy.
00:35:14 Do you miss him?
00:35:16 No. You can't really miss something you never had.
00:35:19 I just meant, do you miss that you didn't have a dad?
00:35:26 It seems like that would be hard.
00:35:29 I had Jimmy growing up. He was this guy who liked my mom, and she would never commit to him.
00:35:35 She would always stand up and put her arm around nothing and say things like, "This is the best boyfriend I could ask for."
00:35:42 Jimmy took a liking to me, though. He even taught me how to box a little bit.
00:35:48 He's been around, so it's more than I can say for most people in my life.
00:35:53 Seems like you fight a lot.
00:35:56 Becoming a boxer has always been a dream of mine.
00:35:59 The first time I saw the movie Rocky, I was like, "Yeah, if he can do it, why can't I do it?"
00:36:05 That's a movie.
00:36:07 Sometimes I kind of look at my life like it's a movie.
00:36:10 I wasn't so much talking about professional fighting, but street fighting at school.
00:36:19 I only told you one story.
00:36:22 I know, but I remember this one time at Edison.
00:36:28 Hey!
00:36:29 Go learn your ABCs, short bus.
00:36:32 You saw that?
00:36:34 I think everybody in school did.
00:36:36 You know, I think that was the day I asked you out at your locker, and you just shut me down right away.
00:36:43 I don't remember that.
00:36:45 At least my luck's changing now.
00:36:47 You were popular, and all because of the sports.
00:36:54 But to me, you just seemed like an immature idiot.
00:36:58 A punk.
00:37:00 I guess I was those things.
00:37:04 But on that day, I saw a different side of you.
00:37:10 Your heart of compassion.
00:37:12 I realized I wasn't really being fair.
00:37:18 There's not very many people that would stand up for someone like that.
00:37:23 Craig was my friend, you know.
00:37:25 I was going to crack anybody that tried to mess with him.
00:37:27 I'd do that for any of my friends.
00:37:29 Anybody I'm close to, anyway.
00:37:31 It's getting late. We should probably go.
00:37:37 I don't know how safe it is around here at night.
00:37:39 Don't worry about that. You're with me.
00:37:43 I mean, look at this. Who's going to mess with this?
00:37:45 So why'd you tell me all this about yourself tonight?
00:37:50 You mean besides trying to make myself look like an immature idiot punk?
00:37:54 Yeah.
00:37:55 Well, I just need to make a change in my life, you know.
00:37:59 I think the only way that I could express that to you was by telling you the truth.
00:38:04 So, now you know.
00:38:06 Want me to take you home now?
00:38:09 No. Not yet. Let's walk a little more.
00:38:13 [car engine]
00:38:15 [music]
00:38:21 Wow. They weren't kidding.
00:38:41 How big are you exactly?
00:38:43 Big enough to walk right through you.
00:38:44 Okay, okay, okay. I'm just saying you're huge.
00:38:46 This is all muscle, right?
00:38:48 How often do you work out?
00:38:49 Look, buddy. I don't go that way.
00:38:51 And frankly, you're in the wrong bar.
00:38:53 Eddie Sharkey. Trainer of champions.
00:38:56 I already got a trainer. Besides champions, never even heard of you.
00:39:00 Wrestling champions.
00:39:02 I started the Road Warriors.
00:39:04 Trained Rick Rude, Jesse Ventura, Scott Steiner.
00:39:07 If you've heard of them, probably one of mine.
00:39:09 Wrestling?
00:39:10 Yes. Professional wrestling.
00:39:12 Ever considered it?
00:39:14 No.
00:39:15 Well, you should. Money. Fame.
00:39:18 And you'd stand out for sure. You're big, you're strong, you're fast.
00:39:21 I bet your vertical leap is off the charts.
00:39:23 How do you know so much about me?
00:39:25 I know you've got loyalty to Paul and that this here is your place.
00:39:29 But I can offer you so much more.
00:39:31 Take everything you've ever dreamed of. Everything you've ever wanted.
00:39:35 You got a plan for getting it, Jeff?
00:39:39 You have the tools. Me? I open doors.
00:39:43 Ever see that movie, Rocky?
00:39:46 I can make you Rocky.
00:39:48 Zero to hero and nothing flat.
00:39:50 And the difference is, in the end, you win.
00:39:54 The championship belt is yours.
00:39:57 Okay.
00:39:58 Numbers on the card.
00:40:02 Call me.
00:40:03 Call me.
00:40:04 Who was that guy you were talking to over there? I've never seen him in here before.
00:40:13 Some wrestling trainer.
00:40:15 Gave me his business card. Was talking to me about becoming a professional wrestler.
00:40:19 What'd you say to him?
00:40:21 Told him I was good with my boxing. Don't need no trainer or wrestling.
00:40:25 I do not need to wrestle, nor do I need a new trainer.
00:40:29 Do not, nor do I.
00:40:33 Ready? Yep.
00:40:35 You know, I can see you as one of those big time wrestlers.
00:40:40 We just have to do something about your hair.
00:40:45 What's wrong with my hair?
00:40:47 Nothing's wrong with it. I love it.
00:40:49 We just have to give you a look.
00:40:51 So he'll be my personal stylist then?
00:40:54 Of course.
00:40:57 [♪♪♪]
00:41:01 [♪♪♪]
00:41:04 [♪♪♪]
00:41:07 [♪♪♪]
00:41:11 [♪♪♪]
00:41:14 [♪♪♪]
00:41:20 [♪♪♪]
00:41:27 [♪♪♪]
00:41:38 [♪♪♪]
00:41:41 You don't want to walk around again?
00:41:46 It's three miles. I'm already dripping wet.
00:41:52 Rest for a minute, and then maybe we can walk as far as the Big Oak.
00:41:56 What's wrong? What?
00:41:59 You're acting weird. Is it something with Paul?
00:42:06 Jennifer Capooch, please keep making me a better man.
00:42:10 Will you marry me?
00:42:12 I thought we could pick out the setting together.
00:42:19 I know you like what you like.
00:42:21 We've only been dating three months.
00:42:27 Three months, a year, ten years, it doesn't matter.
00:42:31 I want what I want, and I want you. I've always wanted you.
00:42:35 So?
00:42:37 Yes, the Lord knows this is crazy, but yes, I'll marry you.
00:42:43 It's beautiful.
00:42:48 It's really nice.
00:42:55 Thank you.
00:42:57 And you picked out the setting together?
00:42:59 Well, actually, what we did is we took all our old jewelry,
00:43:03 melted it down, and then he had the setting made out of that.
00:43:07 And then we each made each other a cross necklace.
00:43:11 And it was just like our past was gone, and we had a new start.
00:43:18 I like that story.
00:43:24 Wish I could melt into someone new myself.
00:43:30 [Birds chirping]
00:43:32 It was the best two decisions I ever made.
00:43:41 They both changed my life forever.
00:43:43 So let me get this straight.
00:43:47 You asked her to marry you that quick after meeting her?
00:43:51 I never limited myself to that.
00:43:54 Well, I know it sounds crazy, but I didn't limit myself.
00:43:57 It was the best two choices I ever made, her and God, you know?
00:44:01 She loved me for who I was.
00:44:03 She taught me how to read, and she never judged me.
00:44:06 She helped me become what God wanted me to become.
00:44:10 Hmm.
00:44:12 Now, back at the house, you talked about the devil having a hold on me.
00:44:19 He does got a hold of you.
00:44:21 Well, if you really think he's got a hold of me,
00:44:24 how do I tell him to get off of me?
00:44:27 The choices you make, he'll have to leave.
00:44:30 You can start going forward into a new life, a different life,
00:44:33 leaving this life behind.
00:44:35 Because you don't have to be a gangbanger.
00:44:39 You have an opportunity, you have a brain.
00:44:41 You could have a business. You could do anything you wanted to do.
00:44:44 The Bible says, Philippians 4, 13,
00:44:46 "All things are possible through Christ Jesus."
00:44:49 [birds chirping]
00:44:52 Go easy on him, fire engine.
00:45:00 Come on.
00:45:02 [rock music]
00:45:07 Come on, Jeff, what are you doing?
00:45:15 Hold back a little bit.
00:45:18 [rock music]
00:45:21 [yells]
00:45:23 [rock music]
00:45:27 Don't hurt the guy!
00:45:40 Jeffrey!
00:45:42 Hey, brother, you all right?
00:45:44 Okay, okay, okay.
00:45:47 [rock music]
00:45:50 [yells]
00:45:52 You all right, bro?
00:45:56 Come on, take a break, man, would you?
00:45:58 Look at this.
00:46:00 [yells]
00:46:04 What was that?
00:46:10 You told me to bump him.
00:46:12 Don't break his back.
00:46:13 It's not my problem you trained punks.
00:46:15 It's called sparring for a reason.
00:46:18 Hey, you all right?
00:46:20 Come on.
00:46:22 I thought you told me this guy was a rookie.
00:46:26 He is a rookie.
00:46:29 What do you think, Eddie?
00:46:31 It's okay, it'll be all right.
00:46:32 Just get that guy some ice, whatever he needs, okay?
00:46:34 Get that guy out of the ring.
00:46:35 I'm gonna talk to him in my office later.
00:46:37 It's all right, you did good. It's all right.
00:46:39 Jeff, go hit the shower.
00:46:44 You all right?
00:46:46 Listen to me, Eddie, because he won't.
00:46:49 He's undisciplined. He can't follow directions.
00:46:52 I like him. I want you to train him.
00:46:54 I want you to have some patience and train him.
00:46:56 Okay, okay, you know what?
00:46:58 You know what he really needs?
00:47:00 What, tell me.
00:47:01 He needs another kind of a camp.
00:47:02 He needs a pre-camp to this camp.
00:47:04 He needs a pre-- all right, all right.
00:47:07 Listen, Stan, I have heard you, okay?
00:47:09 I have heard you.
00:47:10 Get out of here. I want to talk to Jeff now.
00:47:12 Jeff, get in here right now!
00:47:14 Beautiful.
00:47:16 You know, I gotta listen to Stan come into my office
00:47:34 every single day and tell me how you've hurt somebody,
00:47:37 how you don't listen, how you're uncontrollable,
00:47:39 you're undisciplined.
00:47:41 Well, Stan's an idiot.
00:47:43 Yeah, well, he's excitable.
00:47:46 He likes his job. He's good at it.
00:47:49 He's the best trainer I got, except for me.
00:47:52 And now he tells me that you practically put Red in the hospital?
00:47:56 That's not my problem.
00:47:59 Yeah, but it's my problem, okay?
00:48:02 And I'm gonna get rid of a problem.
00:48:08 [pounds book]
00:48:10 Read that.
00:48:13 What's that?
00:48:16 It's a contract.
00:48:19 You are wasting your time here at camp, Jeff.
00:48:23 I gotta spend three months getting most guys into shape,
00:48:26 and you're in better condition than all of 'em.
00:48:28 You'll learn all our moves in a week.
00:48:30 It's time to get you out there.
00:48:33 Let's get you on the road.
00:48:35 You mean you wanna sign me?
00:48:38 I want you to read it, I want you to sign it,
00:48:42 and I want you out on the road.
00:48:45 I thought you wanted to fire me.
00:48:47 [laughs]
00:48:49 You don't work for me, Jeff.
00:48:51 From now on, I work for you.
00:48:54 So you couldn't even read, huh?
00:49:02 No, I, uh, I couldn't.
00:49:05 I faked it a lot.
00:49:09 Jennifer, she wanted to teach me to read.
00:49:13 She was patient and so persistent.
00:49:16 She never gave up on me.
00:49:19 Well, you know what? I'm happy for you.
00:49:23 I mean, that's all great and dandy, but for me,
00:49:26 there's no wrestling camp.
00:49:28 You know, like, I'm stuck in my skin.
00:49:30 Every time I try and leave my house,
00:49:32 there's somebody right outside my door just to remind me who I am.
00:49:35 Just to remind me that I'm never leaving.
00:49:39 That's bondage.
00:49:43 That's a lie from the pit of hell.
00:49:46 Alls you gotta do is start making different choices.
00:49:50 I'm telling you, I can't leave.
00:49:56 Yeah, you can.
00:49:58 I didn't think I could ever change my life.
00:50:01 It's the power of choice.
00:50:04 You just gotta start doing something different.
00:50:06 It's power of association.
00:50:08 What you're around is what you become.
00:50:10 You gotta get around some people that really care about you as a person.
00:50:14 I guess that's easy for you to say, you know?
00:50:20 But I don't know if you notice this,
00:50:22 but this right here, it's not coming off.
00:50:24 I'm not white.
00:50:27 Being white doesn't make it right.
00:50:30 Black or white, it's not a skin thing.
00:50:34 It's a sin thing.
00:50:36 It's the choices we make in life.
00:50:38 You can choose to be a success,
00:50:41 or you can choose just to be another statistic.
00:50:44 You know, I almost lost everything.
00:50:47 My wife, my kids, my house,
00:50:51 all the toys I got.
00:50:56 Sin just about destroyed me.
00:50:59 The devil's after me as much as he is you, you know?
00:51:02 Yeah, but...
00:51:04 somehow it just seems like he's after me a little bit more.
00:51:08 You're gonna make it.
00:51:14 And now, introducing,
00:51:16 from Los Angeles, California,
00:51:19 at 287 pounds,
00:51:23 Jeff Warner, the star!
00:51:28 It's the new Buzzard.
00:51:45 (crowd cheering)
00:51:48 What the fuck?
00:51:53 (crowd chanting)
00:52:09 (crowd cheering)
00:52:12 Get out of the corner!
00:52:17 Fuck, it's bad, fuck!
00:52:19 Come on, brother, let's go!
00:52:23 (crowd cheering)
00:52:26 (crowd cheering)
00:52:32 (bell ringing)
00:52:37 (crowd cheering)
00:52:40 (crowd cheering)
00:52:48 (crowd chanting)
00:52:53 (crowd chanting)
00:52:58 (crowd chanting)
00:53:03 (crowd chanting)
00:53:06 So, what's after Michigan?
00:53:16 Southern Loop.
00:53:18 It's gonna be a long one.
00:53:20 Cole, while I'm gone, you're gonna take care of Mommy and Hunter.
00:53:23 What will you bring me?
00:53:26 It's gonna be a surprise, as always.
00:53:28 Okay.
00:53:30 Hey, Daddy's gonna miss you.
00:53:33 What was that?
00:53:40 What was what?
00:53:41 I told him I'm gonna miss him, he walked out like, no big deal.
00:53:45 What's there to miss?
00:53:47 What are you talking about? I buy him whatever he wants.
00:53:49 It's hard to miss somebody that's never around.
00:53:53 (phone ringing)
00:53:55 What's that supposed to mean?
00:54:06 All I meant is that it's hard to miss you when you're never here anymore.
00:54:11 That's my job. I gotta travel all over the world.
00:54:14 Don't you think I'd rather be here with you guys?
00:54:18 It feels like you're getting really comfortable with it.
00:54:22 You guys are the most important thing to me.
00:54:24 But look, I've got bills to pay.
00:54:27 I'm an adult, so I understand that.
00:54:35 But Colton and Hunter are kids,
00:54:38 and all that they know is when you're not here, you're not here.
00:54:43 What else could I do?
00:54:46 You could start by trusting God.
00:54:49 Trust God? To pay my bills?
00:54:52 Trust God that he has a plan for your life.
00:54:55 God has a plan for me?
00:54:57 He has a plan.
00:54:59 I don't... He has a plan for my life. He's gonna pay my...
00:55:03 You know what? I hope so. I hope God's got a plan for me.
00:55:07 [door opens]
00:55:09 How are you feeling?
00:55:27 Horrible. Nervous, honey.
00:55:30 There are so many people here. It's a full house.
00:55:34 The word is out, and everyone's really excited to hear you.
00:55:37 You're not helping me.
00:55:39 Oh, I'm sorry. I thought you were gonna dress up a little.
00:55:43 I did. I match.
00:55:45 You're right. You do. And you're gonna do great.
00:55:49 Thanks.
00:55:51 It was about midnight. Paul and Silas were praying in the prison.
00:55:57 Suddenly, there was an earthquake.
00:55:59 All the prison doors opened, and all the shackles fell off 'em.
00:56:03 The guard was afraid that everyone escaped,
00:56:06 so he pulled out his sword to kill himself.
00:56:09 And just before he did that, Paul shouted,
00:56:11 "Do not harm yourself, for we are still here."
00:56:15 The guard was amazed. He turned on all the lights,
00:56:18 and he ran in there and seen that they stayed there.
00:56:21 He fell down, and he said, "How can I accept your God?"
00:56:25 Because most people would let him kill himself so they could escape,
00:56:29 but they had integrity.
00:56:31 Paul and Silas were men of God, and they're singing in the prison.
00:56:35 So I want to encourage you this morning to learn to put God first
00:56:40 and learn to make the right choices.
00:56:43 Don't be a dope. Live with some hope and learn to do what the Bible says.
00:56:48 Good morning. Hi. Thank you. You're welcome.
00:56:52 Where is your husband? He had to step away for a moment.
00:56:56 Oh. Well, I wanted to tell him how wonderful his sermon was.
00:57:00 I was so moved. I am so glad. Thank you.
00:57:04 I cannot wait to hear him preach again.
00:57:07 Wonderful. See you then.
00:57:09 Jeff, are you okay?
00:57:28 You did such a great job. Everybody loved it.
00:57:34 You know, it was the first time I cried in my adult life,
00:57:45 which is crazy because it seems that's all I do now is cry.
00:57:49 A big guy like you crying is probably because you're old,
00:57:53 and you can't hold in like you used to back in the day.
00:57:56 I guess so. You know, I was really embarrassed,
00:57:59 and I didn't want to go back. Didn't want to at all.
00:58:03 Took me a couple of weeks before I went back there.
00:58:06 It really doesn't make sense, though.
00:58:11 I mean, you said they liked you, though, right?
00:58:14 Yeah, they said they liked me. I mean, I guess.
00:58:17 But I'll be honest with you, I didn't know if I ever wanted to serve God again,
00:58:21 and I didn't know if I could.
00:58:23 I mean, I knew what I was supposed to do,
00:58:26 but I'll be honest with you, it was a lot harder than I ever expected.
00:58:31 Yeah. Yeah, you can come over at 3 o'clock.
00:58:37 And pick the car up, yep.
00:58:40 You got a good deal. Thanks.
00:58:44 You sold it?
00:58:48 Yep.
00:58:50 That was fast. You only listed it a few days ago.
00:58:54 Yeah, that's nice, but every time I turn around,
00:58:57 bills just keep coming. Bills, bills.
00:58:59 I got bills popping out of my eyeballs.
00:59:02 You know, it's going to be all right.
00:59:06 It's going to turn around.
00:59:09 It just takes some time.
00:59:12 You know, if we help others, and we take care of God's business,
00:59:17 He's going to take care of our business.
00:59:20 Well, I hope so, because we ain't got much business left.
00:59:26 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego,
00:59:29 they would not bow down. They wouldn't compromise.
00:59:32 King Nebuchadnezzar made a golden idol.
00:59:36 He brought in all the mayors and governors and chief priests
00:59:40 and all the people of authority, and he said,
00:59:42 "Whoever doesn't bow down after we play this song and worship my God,
00:59:46 we're going to kill. We're going to throw them in a burning furnace."
00:59:50 So they played a song, and after the song was all over,
00:59:53 everyone was bowed down, except for three guys went bow.
00:59:57 And a guy stood up and said, "Sir, King, those three over there didn't bow."
01:00:02 And he pointed, and it was Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.
01:00:06 The king was upset, irate.
01:00:08 "Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, why would you not bend and bow down to my new God?"
01:00:15 And they said, "King Nebuchadnezzar, our God is able to deliver us from you.
01:00:20 We will not bow down to your God."
01:00:22 So he said, "Throw them in a burning, fiery furnace."
01:00:26 He said, "Heat it up."
01:00:28 They heated it up seven times hotter than they ever heated it up before.
01:00:31 And they bound them, they gagged them, and they marched them in the furnace.
01:00:36 And they didn't burn, but the people that brought them in, they all burnt to death.
01:00:41 They bound them. The only things that got burnt on them were the things that bound them.
01:00:45 The rope got burnt off them. Everything else got burnt off them.
01:00:49 And then the king looked in there and he said, "There seems to look like there's four of them walking around in the fire."
01:00:54 The Lord was in there, and King Nebuchadnezzar said, "It looks like God's in there."
01:00:58 And he went to the mouth of the fire and he hollered in, "Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego,
01:01:03 the ones who serve the Most High God, come on out and we're going to worship your God."
01:01:08 Because he was able to deliver them from the fiery furnace that had been heated up seven times hotter than ever before.
01:01:15 So I don't care how or what you're going through, when things get hot and you get heated up, do not quit.
01:01:22 Put your focus on God and not on man.
01:01:25 So the three B's, they didn't bow, they didn't bend, and they didn't burn.
01:01:29 I want to encourage you this morning to get committed, get sold out, and watch your life change.
01:01:35 (Music)
01:01:40 What are these credit card bills?
01:01:43 I thought you knew about them.
01:01:46 No, I didn't know nothing about these.
01:01:49 Remember I told you I had to buy some things for the ladies' Bible study?
01:01:54 But they're all going to pay it back.
01:01:56 Well, how are we going to pay for it in the meantime?
01:01:59 Going to use monopoly money or what?
01:02:02 That's why we have credit, so we can pay what we can.
01:02:05 You know, I don't have no more cars to sell.
01:02:08 Please stop yelling.
01:02:11 If I have to, I'll go back to work.
01:02:14 Oh, you'll go back to work and get another job.
01:02:17 Well then who's going to watch Dylan?
01:02:19 We'll figure something out.
01:02:21 Well, while you're at it, why don't you figure out a new job for me too?
01:02:25 What?
01:02:27 I was let go today.
01:02:29 What are you talking about? What happened?
01:02:32 I don't know. Pastor Lewis said he had to fire me.
01:02:35 They were making cuts. I don't know nothing. They're running out of money.
01:02:38 What are we going to do?
01:02:40 (Music)
01:02:44 God's never going to pay these bills.
01:02:47 Never had this problem when I wrestled.
01:02:49 Vegas? Really?
01:02:54 Yeah, no, I just took off.
01:02:56 You know, I was going crazy, and I just had to get out.
01:03:00 Definitely was crazy.
01:03:04 So then if you were leaving like that, were you ever planning on coming back?
01:03:10 No, I was never coming back, to be honest.
01:03:13 I was done with my family.
01:03:15 I was done with serving God, done with religion.
01:03:18 I was just fed up with everything.
01:03:20 I mean, I figured if I couldn't even provide for my family, they'd be better off.
01:03:24 So you just walked out on your family?
01:03:27 That's cold, man. That's real cold.
01:03:30 But you know, I'm guessing it must have made some kind of sense to you, though, huh?
01:03:36 No, it never does.
01:03:39 You know, my father walked out on me.
01:03:42 I ended up walking out on my family, and it was wrong.
01:03:46 You know, but you're here now.
01:03:48 And if you'd have killed that guy,
01:03:51 where would you be, but better yet, where would Mercy be right now?
01:03:57 I don't know. I don't know.
01:04:01 I figure maybe they'd catch me, maybe they don't.
01:04:04 It really doesn't matter, man.
01:04:06 Maybe they'd catch you. Maybe they don't.
01:04:09 Well, I tell you, they will catch you. Don't know her brother did it.
01:04:12 I mean, Ty, you're going to get caught.
01:04:14 You kill that guy, you're going to pay the price.
01:04:16 But you know what? Where would Mercy be without her big brother?
01:04:20 I don't know. I don't know. She's got friends.
01:04:24 It doesn't even matter, you know, because when you left your family,
01:04:28 who'd your family have? Who?
01:04:31 Well, I thank God that they had Jennifer.
01:04:35 [music]
01:04:50 [cheering]
01:04:54 Would you like to buy insurance, sir?
01:05:01 Blackjack. I'm sorry, sir. Bust.
01:05:06 [cheering]
01:05:09 Again?
01:05:13 May I sit here, handsome?
01:05:19 How's the luck tonight?
01:05:25 Not so good, huh?
01:05:28 Looks like I'm just in time.
01:05:31 They call me Lucky Lady.
01:05:34 And the lady wins. I'm sorry, sir.
01:05:39 You're quiet, aren't you?
01:05:46 That's all right. I'll get you talking.
01:05:49 I apologize, sir. She's one of the best in town.
01:05:55 You should be betting your money on me.
01:05:57 We were everything to him, and then we were nothing.
01:06:03 But I never stopped believing for my family.
01:06:07 And I know we've just met, but from what I can tell,
01:06:13 the way that your brother loves you and the way that he protects you,
01:06:17 there's no way that he'd ever blame you for this.
01:06:22 I promise you, Ty won't blame you, even when he hears the truth.
01:06:29 I'm going to have the doctor come in now, okay?
01:06:34 Can you stay during the exam? I want you to be here.
01:06:39 Of course I will.
01:06:43 [door opens]
01:06:46 What are you doing?
01:06:58 Mom's going to find out you used her phone, and she's going to ground you forever.
01:07:01 Will not!
01:07:03 Who are you calling anyways?
01:07:04 None of your beeswax. Go away!
01:07:06 Give it here!
01:07:08 I'm going to go and find her and tell her right now.
01:07:12 [phone rings]
01:07:14 [gasps]
01:07:16 [phone rings]
01:07:18 [phone rings]

01:09:01 [phone clicks]
01:09:03 [phone clicks]
01:09:06 Hi Dad, it's Hunter.
01:09:08 I'm using Mom's phone, but please don't tell her because I don't want to get in trouble.
01:09:12 But I knew she had your number.
01:09:14 I hope you get better, Dad.
01:09:16 I know that no one loves me better than you.
01:09:19 I can't wait to see you at one of my hockey games.
01:09:21 I'm very excited.
01:09:23 Please call when you get this.
01:09:26 Dad, I'm going to stick with you forever.
01:09:29 I love you so much.
01:09:31 I miss you.
01:09:33 Bye.
01:09:35 [sniffling]
01:09:37 [sniffling]
01:09:40 [sniffling]
01:09:49 [music]
01:09:52 [music]
01:09:54 Hello?
01:10:21 Hello?
01:10:23 I'm sorry, Lauren.
01:10:48 [music]
01:10:50 Hey boys.
01:11:04 How you doing?
01:11:06 I see you guys have gotten bigger.
01:11:08 Huh?
01:11:09 Where's Colton?
01:11:11 He's inside.
01:11:12 Come on in.
01:11:13 Breakfast is almost ready.
01:11:15 [music]
01:11:17 So, what are you going to do?
01:11:24 What are you talking about?
01:11:26 Now that you're back, what are you going to do?
01:11:29 Besides take up space?
01:11:31 Colton!
01:11:33 It's okay.
01:11:34 I deserve it.
01:11:36 I'm going to seek God's will, not my own.
01:11:40 May I please be excused?
01:11:43 Colton!
01:11:45 Do you think there's something I should do?
01:11:48 It doesn't really matter.
01:11:49 You're just going to do whatever you want.
01:11:51 I want to make things up to you.
01:11:53 I'm still your father, you know.
01:11:56 I got used to not having one.
01:12:01 [silence]
01:12:03 I'm not mad for me.
01:12:24 It's for what you did to her.
01:12:26 I know what I did was wrong.
01:12:28 And I'm sorry for that.
01:12:30 I've got two choices.
01:12:33 I can leave, or you can forgive me
01:12:38 and give me a chance to make it right.
01:12:41 Thanks.
01:12:47 You know, I know what it's like to grow up without a father too.
01:12:57 [silence]
01:12:59 [music]
01:13:24 How can I help you today?
01:13:27 You're Jim Box.
01:13:31 That's me.
01:13:33 Do I know you?
01:13:38 Not really, no.
01:13:42 Well, what are you looking for today?
01:13:45 You have a son.
01:13:49 Look, mister.
01:13:51 I have four daughters, no sons.
01:13:54 I don't know who you think I am, but no sons.
01:13:58 His name is Jeff Warner.
01:14:02 You need to find him.
01:14:04 A son?
01:14:15 A son?
01:14:18 No.
01:14:19 It can't be.
01:14:21 I'm Cameron with the Elephant Strength Team.
01:14:24 We travel around the country encouraging young folks
01:14:26 that they have a choice in life.
01:14:28 That they don't have to make bad choices.
01:14:30 They can make good choices.
01:14:31 We're going to do two breaks today.
01:14:33 I'm going to do one with my elbow.
01:14:35 I'm going to blow up these five breaks here.
01:14:37 And then I'm going to come over and bust these with my forearm.
01:14:40 [applause]
01:14:48 [applause]
01:14:50 [applause]
01:15:16 I think you'd be really good at that.
01:15:18 Do you think so?
01:15:20 I think you'd be incredible.
01:15:22 You really seem to draw a lot of kids.
01:15:25 I think it's a great idea.
01:15:29 [music]
01:15:32 [music]
01:16:00 Dad.
01:16:01 Happy Father's Day.
01:16:03 Oh, thanks.
01:16:05 It's from all of us.
01:16:07 Open it.
01:16:09 Hey, a bunch of lures.
01:16:14 Just in time.
01:16:16 We were waiting for the perfect time.
01:16:19 Thanks.
01:16:21 Bronson, I think you got one.
01:16:23 Don't lose them.
01:16:25 Keep it tight, Bronson.
01:16:28 [music]
01:16:30 Come on.
01:16:32 Keep reeling.
01:16:34 Line up, boys.
01:16:36 I'll show you how it's done.
01:16:38 It's Friday's fish.
01:16:40 [phone ringing]
01:16:44 Hello?
01:16:47 Yes.
01:16:50 Uh-huh.
01:16:54 Yeah, my mother's Patty Warner.
01:16:57 Did you call on Father's Day for a reason?
01:17:05 Dad, the fish?
01:17:08 Let me call you right back.
01:17:12 Who was that?
01:17:14 That was my sister.
01:17:16 Lori?
01:17:17 Sherry.
01:17:19 You don't have a sister named Sherry.
01:17:22 You're not going to believe this.
01:17:24 Thank you very much.
01:17:33 Please come again.
01:17:51 Colton.
01:17:52 Colton?
01:17:54 Dylan.
01:17:55 Dylan?
01:17:56 Hunter.
01:17:57 Hunter.
01:17:58 Bronson.
01:17:59 Like the actor, Charles?
01:18:00 That's what everyone else says.
01:18:02 I'm Jennifer.
01:18:04 Jennifer.
01:18:05 I'm so happy to meet you, Jennifer.
01:18:07 So good to meet you.
01:18:09 Jeff.
01:18:12 I didn't know, Jeff.
01:18:15 I didn't know.
01:18:17 It's okay.
01:18:20 [music]
01:18:22 She agreed to the exam.
01:18:28 That's great.
01:18:30 Thank you.
01:18:33 Is she going to be okay?
01:18:44 I believe she will be.
01:18:46 I'm so happy for you.
01:18:48 I knew him, Ty.
01:18:55 The guy who...
01:19:00 who...
01:19:03 I met him at a party last week.
01:19:09 He was really nice.
01:19:12 And I was flirting with him.
01:19:15 You know?
01:19:17 And then what?
01:19:23 That night?
01:19:25 Nothing, really.
01:19:27 We just talked.
01:19:29 And he said he wanted to see me sometime.
01:19:32 And then he came over.
01:19:43 And...
01:19:45 [sobbing]
01:19:50 [music]
01:19:57 [sobbing]
01:19:59 You know what?
01:20:20 It don't even matter.
01:20:25 It don't even matter, Merce.
01:20:27 'Cause that dude...
01:20:29 he's gonna get what's coming to him.
01:20:31 And then you're gonna be all better.
01:20:34 Okay?
01:20:37 You'll be all better.
01:20:54 Please welcome Jeff Warner and the Ultimate Strength Team!
01:20:58 [cheers and applause]
01:21:01 [countdown]

01:25:08 I'm going to tell you, I've been through a lot of programs,
01:25:11 but when I took one step towards Jesus Christ,
01:25:14 my life ain't never been the same.
01:25:16 Not perfect, but it's changed.
01:25:20 I can read now.
01:25:22 I can talk now.
01:25:24 I can speak now.
01:25:26 I can fill out a checkbook.
01:25:28 I can do a lot of things
01:25:30 because I've learned who I was in Christ.
01:25:33 I got four boys who love their dad.
01:25:37 My dad, I got to meet my dad.
01:25:41 I'm like, man, God is amazing.
01:25:44 45 years old, and God says, "Here, you need a dad."
01:25:52 I'm like, I get a dad at 45?
01:25:56 That's pretty cool.
01:25:58 I'm thankful that I found out who Jesus was
01:26:00 before I became a dad.
01:26:02 Maybe you've blown it.
01:26:05 I believe God says, "This is your day."
01:26:08 I always say this, "Hell is too long to be wrong."
01:26:12 Going to church don't make you a Christian.
01:26:18 Just like me going to McDonald's don't make me a hamburger.
01:26:22 The Bible says if you withdraw your heart unto Christ,
01:26:28 He'll recognize you on Judgment Day
01:26:32 and your name will go in the Lamb's Book of Life.
01:26:35 So I want everyone to close their eyes
01:26:37 and bow your head for a second.
01:26:40 I got one question to ask you.
01:26:42 If you died right now, where would you go?
01:26:50 If you're not 100% sure, you're 100% wrong.
01:26:53 I believe if you would say,
01:26:55 "Father, you know what? Count me in this prayer,"
01:26:59 He will.
01:27:02 The greatest thing I've ever experienced in my life
01:27:06 is the power of Jesus.
01:27:09 If you want to ask the Lord in your heart
01:27:12 like I did on July 2nd, '89,
01:27:14 I'm going to ask you simply to come on down.
01:27:16 The team's going to pray for you.
01:27:19 Come on down.

01:29:05 Change me. Rearrange me.
01:29:09 Thank you, Lord, for dying on the cross.
01:29:13 For my sin, I accept you as my Savior.
01:29:19 Thank you, Jesus.
01:29:21 I'll see you in heaven.
01:29:23 In Jesus' name, amen."
01:29:27 Give the Lord a round of applause.
