Le 23 juillet, Elon Musk a annoncé qu’il allait détruire l’identité du réseau social qu’il a racheté pour 44 milliards de dollars, pour le transformer en « X », en hommage à sa lettre préférée. Non, ce n’est pas une blague, la direction de Twitter a bel et bien confirmé que ce projet était réel, et sur le point de se produire. Depuis le 24 juillet, le site x.com redirige vers l’ancien Twitter, avec un nouveau logo sur la page d’accueil.
