00:00 Sunshine back in your exclusive
00:01 AccuWeather forecast for this
00:03 afternoon throughout much of the
00:04 Northeast. Along with that,
00:06 we're going to be talking about less humidity
00:08 and again air quality conditions in good shape.
00:11 So we're covering all bases here.
00:13 Pretty good looking afternoon to
00:15 venture outside if you have any plans.
00:17 Now there will be some showers,
00:19 some downpours and some thunderstorms,
00:21 especially as we lift our way into
00:23 northern Vermont, New Hampshire,
00:24 and into the state of Maine.
00:26 So be weather aware here.
00:28 And allow extra time to reach
00:30 that final destination.
00:30 We've talked about a lot of
00:32 rain so far this month.
00:34 I mean, look at this in Albany.
00:36 Already the second wettest July on record.
00:38 We still have a ways to go here
00:41 throughout the month of July until
00:42 we wrap things up and we could
00:45 easily see that number continue
00:46 to climb as we go down the road.
00:48 Not so much the case today,
00:50 but check out the numbers for a change.
00:52 We're going below the historical
00:54 average around Pittsburgh and
00:55 Syracuse and Richmond and wow,
00:57 we're down the list that we're
00:58 not below the historical average.
01:00 That's going to change as we
01:02 work our way down the road and
01:04 not in the short term, though.
01:05 Even on Sunday it will be humid,
01:07 but not too overly hot or active.
01:09 For that matter,
01:10 showers kind of clinging to far
01:12 northern Maine back to the West
01:13 will be another round of thunderstorms
01:15 rolling in from Michigan into Indiana,
01:17 Illinois that slides East into the
01:19 Northeast as we work our way into
01:21 Monday around Syracuse could also
01:22 see some thunderstorms coming in
01:24 toward Burlington but notice toward
01:25 the end of the period look at Tuesday.
01:27 89 Philadelphia 86 toward Pittsburgh
01:29 in the trend will be for some warmth
01:31 to further intensify as we work our
01:33 way down the road toward Lake next week.
01:36 In fact,
01:36 some of these spots here could experience
01:38 again that surge of heat coming back in.
01:41 Here's the reason why we're going
01:42 to see the jet stream lift to the
01:45 North haven't seen that happen too
01:47 many times over the last couple of weeks.
01:49 We've seen lots of dips coming down,
01:51 lots of storminess and also some
01:53 cooler air here at times, so it's
01:55 going to be hot and humid and not as.
02:00 Rating.
