I was just farming for some Hyper Blaster Ammo in The Gauntlet (E4M1), went to E4M2 to then get back to the Hub, then went straight for E5M1, but I've come to realize that; my Shockhammer had WAY more Ammo than it usually should have, and even if I reloaded my Save, it stayed like this, so I can keep it that way. Usually, it's supposed to hold only 7 Shells, but mine had 200, and since the Shockhammer is an extremely fast Shotgun that goes as fast as you click the Mouse, then I could blast anything at insane speed without ever having to reload.
It also benefits from the Slow-Motion Power-up as you can dish out more shrapnels to the beefier opponents without them gunning you too quickly, but also that Power-up takes Ammo from your Inventory instead, rather than your Magazine... Clip? Either way, that means I could have access to 300 Shells without ever reloading, 100 of which is only with the use of the Slow-Mo, already having 200 at normal speed is extremely cool and stylish.
This was also all achieved on every Max Difficulty Settings, yet even that jet and mech stood no chance.
The Game was already buggy for me, I did came across other oddities such as losing all my 200 Magnum Ammo for no reason or even certain geometries of the Levels would be missing or misplaced, stuff can kinda happen randomly. It's not to say it's riddled by such oddities, but more to say that I wouldn't know how to replicate any of it, again I simply did my thing, albeit I must've reloaded Levels several times due to being on the hardest settings, that may be it, Restarting/Reloading Levels several times. I also think the 200 Shells Shotgun may had something to do with me losing my 200 Magnum Ammo at several moments in my Playthrough, as I believe Ammo is sometimes transferred between my other Weapons, on freak chances, it did it for my Chaingun.
It may just be something completely random, but now I don't want to lose this Shockhammer, as honestly, it made me wish that there should be some Cheat Codes or something in this Game, because doing the entire Level with only this Shotgun with a huge capacity and at insane speed was exhilarating.
Very fun game so far.
