Featuring a Huge 17.7-inch Infotainment System | New Chevrolet Traverse 2024 Introduced.

Starting from the outside, the 2024 Traverse draws inspiration from the Silverado and Suburban as it adopts a larger and more muscular grille.

Chevrolet said the model was designed to have a "robust, ready-to-go" look, and that's especially true for the all-new Z71 hardware. It is immediately noticeable thanks to the robust front fascia, which has been specially designed to offer an improved approach angle.

These aren't the only upgrades, as the Traverse Z71 has a wider track and an extra inch of ground clearance. Buyers will also find a special dual-clutch all-wheel drive system and a retuned suspension with unique shock absorbers.

Drivers looking for a sportier look can opt for the RS equipment with sport-tuned suspension and 22-inch aluminum wheels with a glossy black finish. The dark theme is also echoed in the grille, roof rails and slats.

Technology comes to the fore as drivers will find themselves sitting behind a larger 11-inch digital instrument cluster. It's combined with a massive 17.7-inch infotainment system that's 10.7 inches larger than the previous standard screen.

Screens aside, the 2024 Traverse has a revamped center console as the gearshift lever has been moved to the steering column. It was combined with a revised center console and new switchgear.

Under the hood, the 3.6-liter V6 has been replaced by an all-new turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder. Officials didn't say much about it, but the engine produces an estimated 315 hp (235 kW / 319 PS) and 317 lb-ft (429 Nm) of torque.

The 2024 Traverse comes standard with a host of driver assistance systems such as Automatic Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Warning and Lane Keeping Assist with Lane Departure Warning. These are accompanied by IntelliBeam High Beam Assist, Follow Distance Indicator and Front Pedestrian and Cycling Brake.

2024 Traverse draws attention by offering Super Cruise for the first time in addition to standard safety features. Other options include Adaptive Cruise Control, Side Blind Zone Warning with Lane Departure Warning and Blind Zone Steering Assist. Customers can also get Rear Park Assist, Reverse Auto Braking and Rear Pedestrian Alert. The model also offers Rear Cross Traffic Brake, Junction Automatic Emergency Brake, Traffic Sign Recognition and HD Surround View system.

The 2024 Chevrolet Traverse will launch early next year and will be built at the Lansing Delta Township Assembly in Michigan. No word on pricing at this point, but the current model starts at $34,520, before a $1,395 target fee.
