It Is A Single-Seater Car With A Retro But Striking Design, New Porsche 357 Vision Speedster 2023

In January, Porsche introduced the Vision 357, one of the most stylish concepts it has offered in the last few years. On the eve of the Goodwood Festival of Speed this weekend, the automaker just unveiled the follow-up to that car, the Porsche Vision 357 Speedster.

Like the first concept it followed, the 357 Vision Speedster pays homage to the 356 and celebrates the 30th anniversary of the Goodwood Festival of Speed. After its launch in the UK, it will be showcased at the Rennsport Reunion in the US in September and is sure to excite Porsche enthusiasts, if not geared towards production.

Visually, the concept shares many features with the hardtop concept from January, but the presence of a low windshield makes it look even more stylish. It is painted in a combination of Marble Gray and Metallic Grivelo Gray and some contrasting elements are painted in Miami Blue, including the front tow strap, rear tow hook and large '75' graphic.

In front of the rear wheels are small unicorn graphics and cameras instead of traditional side mirrors. The headlights and taillights are also unique as they are hidden behind nets integrated directly into the bodywork. The rear also features a vertical grille design that not only looks cool but also hides the third brake light.

Porsche also outfitted the concept with a set of 20-inch magnesium wheels complete with carbon fiber hubcaps and center locks. These wheels take design inspiration from the wheels used on the original 356 A and 356 B.

The interior is very driver-oriented and designed as a single seater with a carbon fiber reinforced bucket seat integrated into the monocoque body. Porsche then fitted Miami Blue seat belts, a clear-surface instrument cluster, and various controls clad in Miami Blue. Carbon fiber also adorns the instrument cluster.
