00:05 Here goes Philipsen, Van Aert is shoulder to shoulder.
00:08 >> We can't be proud enough on our team achievement.
00:11 >> Philipsen takes the stage.
00:12 >> It's a dream for us, a dream tour.
00:14 >> Caleb Ewan on his wheel.
00:16 Philipsen doubles up.
00:18 >> Hopefully we can add another one.
00:21 >> Philipsen trying to get past the max missile.
00:24 Hat-trick, Jasper Philipsen.
00:26 >> Can anyone beat Jasper Philipsen when it comes to a sprint?
00:29 >> Can I call you Jasper the master now?
00:32 >> Let's see here tonight.
00:33 [MUSIC]
00:39 >> Stage 11, taking us from Clermont-Ferrand to Moulin.
00:43 It's a stage of 179.8 kilometers.
00:47 Along the way for the riders, three fourth category climbs and
00:50 the intermediate sprint before the rush into Moulin.
00:53 It looks like today should be a day for the sprinters, but you never know.
00:59 >> If it's only three riders, it's no problem.
01:02 If it's only three riders, it's no problem.
01:04 >> Three leaders, Andre Amador, the Costa Rican,
01:08 in the pink colors of EF Education Easy Post.
01:11 Daniel Os, he's in that white jersey with the blue shorts,
01:15 riding for Total Energy.
01:17 And Matisse Luevel riding for Arkea Samsic.
01:21 >> Arkea Samsic, three minutes.
01:24 [MUSIC]
01:34 >> Looks like he's gonna have a bike change.
01:38 >> Yes, especially in that moment where he was actually still pedaling.
01:40 You could see he was just leaning against the car more than being totally helped.
01:46 That was a quick bike change.
01:48 >> That mechanic was very rapid.
01:51 [MUSIC]
02:01 >> Our three breakaway riders were never under any illusions about their chances
02:17 on this stage.
02:18 Their maximum gap was a little over three minutes, but
02:21 the peloton soon brought that down.
02:23 In fact, the pace was higher than expected, to the extent that they were almost reeled
02:27 back in with 70K still to ride.
02:29 [MUSIC]
02:32 >> And I'm really surprised that the sports directors are not telling
02:36 their riders to slow down.
02:39 >> 20 seconds between the front two riders, Amador and Os and the pack.
02:43 20 seconds.
02:44 [MUSIC]
02:47 >> [FOREIGN]
02:53 >> Suddenly the rain is falling,
02:55 a shower on the peloton while they've enjoyed incredible weather over the last
03:00 week.
03:01 >> [FOREIGN]
03:03 >> The pack is bad, Daniel Os has been caught.
03:05 >> He is good in position, Boris, really good.
03:09 Make sure we stay in front with Jonas.
03:11 Because it will be nervous now from here till the finish.
03:16 [MUSIC]
03:26 >> The most successful sprinter of this Tour de France is Jasper Philipsen.
03:44 Three stage wins and a green jersey.
03:47 The other sprinters will be green with envy.
03:50 >> And we might see just a little bit of an acceleration for
03:54 positioning coming into the town.
03:56 >> Remy Cavagna takes up position.
03:59 >> My level has not been great, I wish I was better.
04:02 It's hard, but I'm still here.
04:04 [MUSIC]
04:06 >> I think nobody has the same legs like the first days, but I'm looking forward.
04:10 [MUSIC]
04:12 >> Jasper's made us all look silly, he's on three stages, so he's been incredible.
04:17 >> There's 67 kilometers an hour on wet roads.
04:21 >> You're fresh for today.
04:23 >> Fresh is a big word, I think.
04:24 I feel still good that today's another chance.
04:27 >> The speed, it's almost 80 kilometers an hour.
04:30 Uno-X take control now to try and just put some pace on.
04:35 Craig Anderson on the inside as they take the right hander off the bridge, 2K to go.
04:41 >> That's a hard one because it's not completely straight,
04:43 it's always turning a little bit.
04:45 >> 1,500 to go.
04:46 >> And there goes the next left, Caleb Ewan in really good position,
04:49 just in front of Philipsen, fighting with Kirsch, they're pushing each other.
04:54 >> When you can't see the finish, it's always hard to judge.
04:56 [MUSIC]
05:00 >> Caleb has been nudged off the wheel on more than one occasion.
05:04 Kirsch is gonna try and take part in this sprint for Pedersen, but
05:07 he's bumping off everybody.
05:09 >> Ewan gets into position, front of the race then,
05:12 Soren Craig Anderson behind a couple of places.
05:15 There's the bridge, 1K to go.
05:17 They get Christoph Laporte, Van Aert, Caleb Ewan, Philipsen,
05:21 Jordi Moos, and then behind Pedersen and Gourmay.
05:23 >> And here comes from the surge from behind with Jasper Stuyven and
05:28 Pedersen on the wheel, coming really fast, gonna hit them early.
05:31 >> 65 kilometers an hour as we make our way into Moulin.
05:36 Jasper Stuyven and Pedersen, the arrival of Luka Mekets with Dylan Groenewegen
05:42 on the wheel in the blue and white.
05:44 Groenewegen is looking for this sprint, but
05:46 here come Uno-X with Alexander Christoph.
05:50 Is Christoph gonna win a stage?
05:52 That was almost a crash there.
05:54 Jordi Moos almost hit the barriers.
05:56 Philipsen on another almost crash.
05:58 Philipsen is going through.
05:59 Groenewegen hits the front.
06:01 Philipsen is about to kick through the center.
06:05 Jasper Philipsen, four out of five for Jasper Philipsen.
06:10 [MUSIC]
06:15 >> This morning I asked you if I could call you Jasper the master.
06:19 You didn't want to answer.
06:20 Can you answer now?
06:21 >> [LAUGH] If you say so, I said this morning if I win again today, maybe yes.
06:25 It's an incredible tour so far.
06:29 I can't realize how good it's all going.
06:33 So, yeah, just super proud and really happy with my shape.
06:37 And also to get through the final without problems is also a big challenge.
06:43 And we managed to do it already four times in a row.
06:46 But yeah, I'm already so happy so far to take four and
06:50 yeah, hopefully looking towards Paris also, hopefully in this jersey.
06:54 >> Philipsen remains in a league of his own at this Tour de France.
06:59 With a total of six stage wins, he now has more than both Groenewegen and
07:03 Ewen, another solid showing from Bauhaus in third place.
07:06 [MUSIC]
07:09 Wingergaard still leads by 17 seconds, although he will have to be wary of any
07:13 attacks from Pagacar in tomorrow's punchy 12th stage.
07:17 The green jersey is more or less a done deal for Philipsen,
07:21 provided he makes it to Paris.
07:23 He leads by 145 points, and there are only a handful of sprint stages left.
07:27 Paulus is still in polka dots.
07:31 Will he go chasing for more mountains points tomorrow or
07:34 keep his powder dry until the bigger climbs in the Alps?
07:37 The best young rider, Pagacar, will no doubt be itching to get back to
07:43 the mountains as he looks to wrest the yellow jersey from Wingergaard's grasp.
07:47 [MUSIC]
07:57 you
