Financial Advisor Attributes High Inflation to Pandemic, Not Bidenomics

According to a member of the U.S. President's Council of Economic Advisers, the real cause of high inflation is the Covid-19 pandemic, not Joe Biden's economic policies and stimulus packages. Heather Boushey, speaking at an economic forum, dismissed the criticism that "Bidenomics" and the significant stimulus had fueled inflation. She argued that the American Rescue Plan, a $1.9 trillion relief package, was necessary to address the challenges brought by the pandemic. Boushey pointed out that other countries experiencing inflation did not have the same policies, indicating that the global pandemic and supply chain disruptions were the leading causes. She emphasized the need for investments and collaboration with allies to foster supply chain resiliency and transition to clean energy for more stable prices. Boushey highlighted that inflation rates in the U.S. had decreased for 11 months and the country had seen more substantial growth compared to other G7 nations without higher inflation.
