Activists Demand Stricter Checks on Controversial Safari Park

Animal rights groups say the Leofoo Village safari park in northern Taiwan keeps its animals in unacceptable conditions and that a single day of inspections every two years is not enough to ensure the situation improves. The park has made headlines for the wrong reasons on a number of occasions in the past.
