00:16 Hopper's art mirrors his life from beginning to end.

00:19 There's something that Hopper is doing where he's able to capture

00:26 America, American life in a way that feels both

00:33 As he goes on, the storytelling elements seem to be reduced

00:40 in favor of a kind of really powerfully emotional emptiness.
