00:00You'll see a Pepsi billboard, an Apple watch face,
00:05but you don't know his name necessarily.
00:10I'm from the suburbs.
00:12I was interested in geometry ever since I was a little, little kid.
00:15He literally drew three hours an evening.
00:19I need a way out of life today.
00:22A friend of mine became a pro-snowboarder.
00:24He asked me, oh, will you do my graphic?
00:27That was like the light bulb going off.
00:29That's graphic design.
00:34There was a lot sort of happening at that moment.
00:36You know, we're all mid-twenties and making stuff and helping each other make stuff.
00:40The worst thing anyone could be was like a corporate sellout.
00:43Having kids is a lot of pressure.
00:46He felt like it was really important to have a job.
00:49I was always like, art is so much more important.
00:54Starting my own studio, it wasn't a business.
00:57I was experimenting.
00:59I'm going to fill the room with me stuff, like my mind.
01:03There's definitely a lot going on in his head.
01:05I was sort of redefining how I worked and where it would go.
01:10The guy is non-stop. He knows how to push himself.
01:14Jeff is a control freak, for sure.
01:17I'm going to run myself into the ground.
01:19Do you ever just like, chill?
01:21Nope.
01:25Jeff's drawings have something different.
01:28It's not an accident that the largest corporations want to pick his brain
01:33about how to communicate with visual language.
01:36Please welcome to the stage, Jeffrey Partridge.
01:39I look up to the part of him that balances work and being an artist with life.
01:44It's like super infinite.
