Jennifer Lopez Defends , Launching Her New Alcohol Brand.
Lopez took to Instagram
on the 4th of July to
advertise her new line
of spritzers, Delola,
TMZ reports.
Her new brand has garnered
some criticism for a couple of reasons.
Lopez is known for
swearing off alcohol
in the public eye.
But she says she started to enjoy an occasional cocktail about 10-15 years ago to socialize or unwind.
The entertainer made a point to say that she
doesn't get "s***-faced" and is a responsible drinker.
She also said that as far as alcohol goes, spritzers are relatively healthy.
Another reason she's being criticized
is the fact that her husband, Ben Affleck,
has struggled with alcoholism over the years.
After several times in rehab, Affleck
seems to have his addiction under control.
Lopez did not address fans' concerns
over having an alcohol line when her
partner is a recovering alcoholic.
But Affleck hasn't commented on the situation,
so he seems to be fine with it, TMZ reports
