Manchester welcomes the first indoor beach cinema in the UK at Depot Mayfield

The highly anticipated backyard cinema is back this summer, with an incredible lineup of themed, immersive movie screenings.
Opening on the 5th of July on the roof of Depot Mayfield, Backyard Cinema will bring sand, guaranteed sunshine and cocktails to the people of Manchester.
Visitors to the unique cinema experience can enjoy signature palm tree cocktails from the Flamingo Beach Bar, before relaxing under the Miami Beach sunset and feeling the sand between their toes while they watch their favourite films.
The lineup of films for this summer includes a combination of blockbusters, sing-along musicals, family favourites and cult classics, as well as a few brand new releases such as Barbie and Indiana Jones.
Also on the list is Dirty Dancing, Grease, Back to the Future, Top Gun Maverick, Mean Girls and more.
Miami Beach will also be hosting Dirty Dancing Beach Parties every Friday night, where guests can dance along to the film’s famous soundtrack - and there will be a few special surprises along the way.
