Calls for special training for disability teacher aides

Teacher aides provide vital support for students with disabilities, but in most states across Australia, a background check is all that's needed to become one. Disability advocates and education experts want more specialised training to be made free, before teacher aides begin working with students with disabilities, saying their education suffers when they're not receiving the right supports.
