00:00 Hi lovely people! With Valentine's Day getting closer and closer, I've been experimenting
00:05 a lot with pink lipsticks. And the one that I found that I am currently most excited about
00:11 is the Viva Glam Gaga from MAC. And I'm using the first one, there's one and two, but this
00:18 one is this gorgeous pink color. The second one was more of a brown, which is fabulous
00:22 as well. But for Valentine's, I am absolutely loving this nice pink shade. So I thought
00:29 I would actually just show you how I apply my lipstick and lip liner. And I'm actually
00:35 wearing this now, so I'm just going to show you how I do that. And then I'm going to do
00:39 a quick product review. So let's get started. The first thing that I always do before I
00:45 get started on my lips is apply some sort of lip balm or lip conditioner. And the one
00:50 that I've been actually using a lot lately is this Carmex In Vanilla. And this is a really
00:56 great product because first of all, it absolutely smells delicious. And also it has an SPF of
01:03 15, which is really important to me as well. So I always start out by just applying a thin
01:09 layer of this. And I basically just let this set for about 10 to 15 minutes before I move
01:16 on to the rest of my lips. And I do this because I want to have a nice smooth texture to work
01:23 with, but I don't want my lips to be extremely slick. So applying it a few minutes before
01:29 I do the rest of my lips gives it a chance to kind of settle and leave a nice perfect
01:36 texture to go ahead and apply the lipstick to. After my lip conditioner has had a chance
01:41 to settle in, I move on to the lip liner. And I like to use a lip liner that is very
01:47 close to the color of my natural lips. And today I'm using one by a line called Black
01:52 Radiance, which I actually think is a makeup line for women of color, but they have some
01:57 great products, so I use them as well. And so this one does not have the color name written
02:03 on it for some reason. It might be rubbed off, but it's just this nice kind of pink
02:08 mauve-y kind of color. And it matches my natural lips nicely, so I'm going to use it. And I
02:13 like to over line my lips slightly so that they look a bit more full. I do keep my Cupid's
02:29 Bow for this look, so I kind of defined that because I just really think with pink lipstick,
02:35 the Cupid's Bow just looks super nice. And after I've lined them, I very lightly fill
02:49 them in. And then it's time for the lipstick. So basically, I just apply a few thin layers
03:03 of this lipstick. I feel like this shade is very buildable, so depending on the intensity
03:14 that you want, you can apply, just keep applying more and it just becomes more vibrant. So
03:25 that's basically the finished product. I generally just leave them just like this, but if you
03:32 prefer a little bit of gloss, you can also add a pink gloss to this. I'm going to use
03:36 a little bit of Victoria's Secret's Beauty Rush Pink Gloss just to kind of demonstrate
03:41 what it looks like for you. And that's also a very nice finish. This is just such an incredible
03:51 kind of Barbie pink sort of color. It's so fun, and I'm definitely going to be wearing
03:56 this for Valentine's Day. And I am just really, really excited about this lipstick shade in
04:03 general. I had been wanting to get it for a while, and I heard kind of conflicting reviews
04:08 on it. Some people loved it, some people hated it. And a lot of people had said that it was
04:12 such an intense color that it didn't actually work for them very well. But I feel like with
04:18 my skin tone at least, this color is amazing. I feel like on people with darker skin tones,
04:23 it might actually even be more vibrant because of just the fact that it would have such a
04:28 contrast and show up so brightly. But I am extremely pleased, and I actually plan to
04:34 go back and get the Viva Game Glam Gaga 2, the brown shade, just because I love this
04:39 one so much. I'm excited to see what that one is like as well. The packaging is also
04:43 super cute as well. As you can see, it has Lady Gaga's signature in red, and the actual
04:50 lipstick tube has her signature also with a little star. It's so adorable. This lipstick
04:57 cost me $14.50 at my local MAC store, and I know you can also get it on the MAC store
05:02 online. It was a little hard for me to find actually. I had to go to several different
05:07 locations before I actually found it, because this does seem to be a popular color. But
05:13 I'm so excited about it. I really feel like it's going to work on so many different skin
05:17 tones, and that people are going to get an incredibly different look because of the way
05:22 it works with their skin tones. So I really, really appreciate you watching, and I hope
