(Adnkronos) - Nella vetrina di Amazon made in Italy, lanciata nel 2015, "grazie a partner di eccezione come Ice, Regioni e ministero Esteri, oggi contiamo 5.500 imprese che offrono più di un milione di prodotti: parliamo di Europa, America e anche Giappone". A sottolinearlo è stata Anna Bortolussi, General Manager Brand Owner and Seller Success, Amazon Eu, a margine dell’evento “Le giornate del Made in Italy digitale” che si è tenuto presso il Ministero degli Affari Esteri e della Cooperazione Internazionale a Roma.

00:00 Made in Italy Days is an initiative in collaboration between Amazon, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the ICEA agency
00:07 to promote the digitization and internationalization of Italian companies and the value of Made in Italy in the world.
00:16 From May 29 to June 2, a showcase will open in 11 countries, where 13,000 products will be offered.
00:25 We are talking about a growth compared to last year, in which new countries have joined,
00:31 because in addition to the consolidated countries in Europe, America, Japan and the United Arab Emirates,
00:36 recently in collaboration with ICEA we launched Made in Italy also in Sweden, the Netherlands and Poland.
00:44 We are also talking about a growth in the number of products offered, which goes from 8,000 last year to 13,000 this year.
00:52 We are talking about a growth of our promotional offers of 50% year on year,
00:57 which was possible thanks to the synergy between the public and the private sector, between Amazon and the institutions with which we collaborate.
01:05 Among the tools available for the valorization of Italian companies, I would certainly mention Accelera with Amazon
01:14 and the Made in Italy Evergreen showcase on Amazon.
01:18 When we talk about Accelera with Amazon, we are talking about an educational initiative that was launched in November 2020,
01:25 during the pandemic, with the aim of educating small and medium-sized businesses on the topics of digitization and internationalization.
01:34 We are talking about a program that is not only free, but is a program offered to all companies,
01:40 regardless of whether they want to launch on Amazon or not.
01:44 It is a program that supports the whole country.
01:48 Also thanks to the collaboration with the institutions, the collaboration with the ICEA agency,
01:53 but also with the Internet Association with several Italian regions,
01:56 we now have 35,000 companies that have participated in these training courses,
02:02 of which 65% have then started to integrate their traditional channel with e-commerce
02:11 and 55% of these companies have also started to internationalize, therefore sell abroad.
02:17 These are results that have been made possible thanks to this synergy,
02:21 this virtuous collaboration between the public and the private sector, between Amazon and the institutions.
02:26 In addition to Accelera with Amazon, another important tool is the Made in Italy showcase.
02:31 The Made in Italy showcase is a space within Amazon that is dedicated to Italian excellence.
02:38 It is a space in which we have brought 5,500 Italian companies,
02:44 also thanks to the collaboration with ICEA, which offer 1 million products.
02:50 It is a space that is open to 11 countries around the world
02:55 and that gives the possibility to small and medium-sized Italian companies to promote their products abroad.
